Yes. A few years back a man with mutilated genitals was allowed to fight a woman in the UFC. The woman was a champion and was totally destroyed by the man and ended up with a fractured eye socket, she said she'd never felt so helpless in a fight.


Just because you have mutilated genitals it doesn't make you a woman. If I stick feathers up my * does that make me a bird?

If you were stronger, faster and better skilled as a fighter than I was - you would destroy me, regardless of my gender. That is the point of MMA after all. It is two fighters who are skilled in different forms of martial arts, competing against one another to see who is best. To use the fact the woman was born biologically male is irrelevant because the hormone treatment ensured there was a concentrated loss of strength a biologically-born male has naturally, even if their claims are true that her bone structure and density is bigger, that doesn't mean they are correct with their accusations that there is an unfair advantage. That is why there are different weight category's. (I think, anyway. I last watched the UFC before women were included.)

As much as I have respect for Ronda Rousey and Dana White, what they said was ignorant and wasn't thought through very well.

It is extremely relevant, she was born a man with years upon. Years of testosterone developing his body, men and woman are built so different it's unreal.

Are you for real? A man got his * cut off and then was allowed to destroy a woman in the UFC. That fight should never have been allowed to go ahead. He still had his man strength because he is a man. Just because he mutilated his genitals does not take away the fact that he was allowed to beat the * out of a woman.

This * that wants put in a woman's prison just wants a cushy jail term. He can use his man strength to bully the female prisoners. In Wentworth there's a man with mutilated genitals in with the woman and he gets used for muscle by Bea Smith. It would be totally unfair on the women prisoners if he was allowed in their nick.

It seems like people are making out that every man is a big strong beast and women are delicate little damsels.

Where's all this madness going to end? Next we'll have pro-ops trying to get into women's prisons. If I get a long term sentence in a high security prison should I try and say I identify as a woman so I can do my time in a woman's prison?

Different woman from original article. People blaming the MoJ and whoever for this for their laws not doing enough. But this woman still hadn't undergone surgery so still had a *. Surely a line would have to be drawn somewhere on what constitutes a female and having a * is one of them.

The argument is more of if they feel like a man/woman rather than what they physically have.

 

Yea but if I feel like a rabbit it doesn't make me a rabbit. If trans men have undergone surgery then they are a woman. Up until that point you should treat them in their day to day lives as a woman or whatever they wish but you can't start legally defining pre-op trans men as woman. Where would that leave us. Guys is prison for life and they suddenly start feeling like a woman? I know that's an out there scenario but if you legally blur the lines between what is a man and a woman to the extent that people with *' are being sent to female jail then that's a possibility. A line needs to be drawn and the line of still having one *'s genitalia seems like a fair place to draw it.

 

Personally I don't think you can completely change sexes. In an ideal world though there would be transgender prisons but that just isn't feasible so it's a lose/lose situation.

 

There's been a case before in Scotland of a transgender still with a * going to a woman's prison then sexually assaulting a woman while there. Remember reading it in a paper a while ago, sounds * up.
