I think Commons will be dropped as punishment.

I wouldn't say no to that, I think Brown is lucky to play, but maybe that may work.

Not going to chastise Gordon, he's been excellent for us, but I think that * in front of him is getting him down at the mo, but yeah give Bailly a run.

Tbh we'll probably coast this, but in reality it doesn't actually mean much.

    Is Forrest is fit?

If so, then I'd drop Brown from Seth's team and stick Armstrong in there.

I'l be surprised if Commons is in the matchday squad.

    ------------
    Bailey
    --Lustig - Jozo - Blackett - Tierney
    ---- Rogic - Biton - Armstrong
    Forrest ------------------- Stokes
    ------------Griff

I think Armstrong should be playing centre mid, he has the energy to be box to box, has good drive and can chip in with goals.

Given that we're not likely to change formation

Why is anybody wanting to play Commons outside of the number 10 role? He hasn't got the pace to play wide. Put him in the centre and let Armstrong and Forrest (if he's fit) play wide.

I like the Nesbitt shout we need to be bringing through any youth we have and now is a perfect time to do it. Is he right though, I was under the impression that he played wide left? Therefore to play him we'd either have to play him out of position which is unthinkable or in place of Armstrong who has been one of our better players.

I agree Kris out wide is just not the correct use of his abilities.

But that's not really a wide left role is it? You cut in and the full back does the bombing on (in this system).

That's an interesting view on it. Wonder which one would be the most appropriate way to deal with the situation. Could even give Commons 90 minutes and he plays a blinder by way of apology. A show of unity, if you will.

Forrest should play if fit. Wouldn't mind seeing Allan either.

Yeah I was looking at it like Ronny could do that as a show of "I'm the boss, I'll take you off if i want".

What I actually think will happen is: commons will have apologised by now, it will be put in the past and they'll get on with it. He'll play, he'll score or assist and its business as usual, an embrace at full time of some sort. Thus, presenting the picture that all is well.

But all won't be well deep down :fear:
