Who is Celtic's Best Player?

I believe that Stan Petrov is our best player. He is one the best midfielders in the world and he gives everything for the Celtic cause (remember at Motherwell when a throw-in went against us!). He is the captain of Bulgaria and an ever present in the team. In my opininon he is our most influential player as with out him we would be in serious trouble. Who would be your favourite player and why?

 

easily petrov, besides being our best player he's also the only player we have at the moment who isn't either just starting out on their career or winding it down, in fairness to strachan he does seem to be addressing this imbalance

 

McGeady. Loads of potential, bags of skill. Applauded by Maldini, great dribbling and creative moves. Huge future for us and deserved to be played more this season.





oh... and Beattie of course.... but he wasn't on there...

 

fair point ,especially beattie, but they are still players with potential - admittedly a * load of it - whereas petrov is the player whos is the single biggest influence on the team in my opinion.

how can you rate Zurawski yet? haven't we seen less than 2-3 video clips? he could be a horrible flop! (what of course i dont hope)

 

totally agree Marty. The lad has just got off his plane and already we're putting pressure on him to deliver. I think he will be * hot from what I have seen of him like but to say he's out best player is far to premature.

 

Sutton.Easily in my opinion.

The guy is a matchwinner, and carried the team into victroy several times last season. Remeber Bellamy's hat trick at Tannadice, who came off the bench with an injury to set up the winner? Petrov is influential, but Sutty is our most important player

SUTTY all the way.How can zurawski have more % than Sutton,hes shown us his ability,I havent seen much off zurawski,so i cant rate him that good yet (hope hes good though bhoys)

 

I have always thought that Alan Thompson is the best Celtic player. I remember him playing some exceptional games in Euro Cups but that was a few years ago. I like how he can pull the rest of the team when the game isn't going the right way. Btw who's Your skipper?

Stilian Petrov is the best player in the celtic squad and there should be alot more players as good as him in our team because we are 1 of the biggest clubs in the world with the BEST fans in the world

 

Big Sutton for me , the guy works harder than anyone on the pitch , sets up more goals than the rest of the spl put together and can play up front in the middle or at the back and still be sheer class . 200%

 

Poor John Hartson! I can't believe that out of 62 people, JH was not one person's favourite.
