    Years ago in the Jungle, the guy who used to go around selling macaroon and spearmint chewing gum was going around shouting 'Macaroon, Spearmint chewing gum'. Suddenly he slipped and fell all the way down to the fence. Everybody was worried until he got up and shouted' Broken macaroon and broken spearmint chewing gum'. Everybody fell about laughing.

    I remember Hartson chesting down a Sutton knock-down on the edge of the box in an Old Firm game and before he smashed it into the net, some guy behind me shouted 'HIT IT YA FAT *!' I remember half celebrating whilst half-laughing when it hit the net.

    Also, during a run-of-the-mill SPL game, I remember a guy in the seat in front of me lit up a *. This wee spotty steward slowly ambled up the steps towards him, then quietly said 'There is no smoking in the main stand sir'. The guy took the * out his mouth, blew some smoke out, then said '* off, ya wee minimum-wage *!'.

    Was at the England ireland game this year in dublin and it was a real borefest of a game. Ireland did * all game tbf as did england but Ireland strung 3 passes together in a tight space and one lad with a real west belfast accent shouted out "Ticky tacky" in reference to the barcelona type football 'ticki taka'.

    Crowd burst out laughing.

    Wasn't a Celtic match but I was at a Scottish claymores game when I was about 8 or 9 n they guy in front of me shouted "Ref, your maws a welder"
    Didn't know wot a welder was at the time n when I did find out wot a welder was it confused me even more. Still does to this day......

    At that Raith Rovers League Cup tie a few weeks back. John Daly's name gets announced over the tannoy as he gets subbed on. Stadium was pretty silent, a few withdrawn boos, only for a nearby 'Ye Hun ye' outta nowhere

    Kayal won the ball back then played the ball out of danger, must have been against Udinese. This guy in the pub goes "yes Kayal, your nearing the top of my favourite Palestinians list. Top five now mate, easy"

    I had a wee laugh to myself which he picks up on. "You think thats funny mate? I've got the list"
