I cant be 100% certain, but I think this is my pet stalker. He likes following me about the net and tries to get attention by contradicting anything I post. Pathetic, I suppose, but if I dont feed him for a few days he usually lies down in the corner and behaves himself

If this is your first forum, Rossco, you are going to have to develop a thicker skin than that. I didnt mean to put you down, if thatss what you thought. But if you read what I actually wrote, I didnt even say you were wrong.

What I said was, Mizuno is NOT the hottest prospect in Japan. This is not simply an opinion (or at any rate, if you want to view it as an opinion, its one that most everyone in Japan shares). If you asked 100 people in Japan right now "who is the most exciting young player", I seriously doubt that even one of them would say Mizuno. There are just too many other players who deserve that title more. Im guessing 3/4 would say Kashiwagi, and the rest would mention someone like Honda or Uchida or Lee Tadanari, or someone like that.

However, that doesnt mean Mizuno is a crap player. Far from it! You could be right, and he may be good enough to just walk into the Celtic side and make a huge contribution from day 1.

But if he does, then it will simply prove that there are dozens and dozens of J.League players who could be starting regularly in the SPL. (Personally I believe thats true. But I dont want to get any Eurocentric person's nose out of joint by insisting its true until we see for sure how well Mizuno performs)
