We can deal with it at home, but away our record is poor so we could only go 1 up front, rangers play 1 up front home and away because there *. :84:

Former Tottenham Hotspur ace, Steve Perryman, is an expert in the Asian market and reckons Celtic have unearthed an absolute diamond of a player.

Free agent, and there is a panel sitting tomorrow to hear Celtic's case for awarding him a work permit. Shouldn't be any problems.

This looks a very good signing to me, a player with potential, young and for free. Its going boost japanese market and hopefully with naka there the boy can settle in a lot faster.

Ya I'm liking him, a player with the potential for a huge upside and not a lot of risk for the Hoops. I hope the bag this guy quick.

They're not to strict on work permits are they? I mean clearly the guy has got skills if a club like Celtic want to sign him, they wouldn't really deny him a work permit would they?

    MILK WAS A BAD CHOICE..
Never worry, I'd estimate the odds of him getting passed are about 1-10. He only made his debut in March and has appeared several times since, so it's clear wher the pattern is leading.

However, I like the Football Manager reference! Coz I think Strach and Lawell are brushin up on all the wee ways to get decent players for next to nowt before anyone else gets in there and also get your good men all secured on long contracts!

Really impressin the dung outta me lately. If the half yearly financial results are good aswell, that would be the icing on the cake... the cherry needs to be the SPL title, though, and a couple of OF wins at least before the season is out!

i've a feelin we're close to clicking again. Vinegar feelin his way back to normality, Skippy to keep ramming most peoples assumptions down their throats, Brown to start scoring and finally figuring out with Donati how to alternate in dropping back, Naka back, Naylor back, Wilson soon back, proper central defensive partnership back, Hinkel in, this new guy Mizuno hopefully in.. and 'course McGeady to keep hittin the heights.

We're well rested now too, so I wanna see us unleash * in the New Year with all this!

    Hail, Hail!

have u seen a handsome hun

that statement suggests we dont sign diddies..... playing for celtic is much more than having a talent...... some players cant handle the baggage that goes with wearing a cellic tap.
    expectation of winning every game.
the old firm divide culture shock.
    pace of scottish football.
ye can only sign talented players and hope they rise to the task.
i always remember when alex ferguson signed cantona he said that when some players are given the tour of old trafford you see them visibly wilt at being there.... but cantona walked in puffed out his chest and asked are man u big enough for eric cantona.
i expect a certain aspects of that story apply to celtic and all big clubs when they sign new players.

I did't mean to suggest that we don't sign diddies. I just ment that if Celtic thinks he's good enough, isn't it worth the gamble for the British's immigration department? Ya he could fizzle, so he goes home cuz he's only on a work permit, or he gets traded and becomes someone elses immigration issue. I guess I just can't see a risk big enough for them not to give the guy a work visa. As for Celtic, there's always a risk when signing new players, but they don't need to pay a transfer fee, and the guy has got rave reviews. To me the potential rewards outway the risks associated with him turning out to be a dud. Every sports fan has see a young guy with potential fold under pressure, when the hockey club that I cheer for first started up we had our fair share of disapointing players. For Celtic this guy could rise to the ocassion or he could fold like a cheap tent. All I was trying to get at was that I think he is worth the gamble for all involved.
