Celtic v Hearts - Saturday 3pm.

Team was spot on, tactics were spot on. Absolutely nothing the manager can do about woeful finishing.

 

I did watch the game and I noticed that an extra man through the middle would have helped us unlock them. Not guaranteed but it would have helped. Commons in the hole, Stokes laying it on for griff, full backs out wide.

 

Bitton is absolute world class at that

 

But what did he do productively? He was so predictable and no danger at all. Celtic needed more threat from midfield. At least I didn't saw it.

 

He set up at least 3 chances that I can remember that were squandered, hit the bar and went close on a couple of occasions.

 

Brown played well today too. It's hard to point the finger at someone tbh. Just one of those days.

I agree with this. I'm disappointed we never won, as I think we shouldn't be dropping points at home in the league but apart from puting it away, we never really done much wrong imo. These things happen.

The one that Rogic hit wide, he had played it to him after battling with the hearts defence... He also hit the bar. He also played a few good passes in dangerous areas, which could have led to goals. I thought he was our best player.

 

Maybe I said a bit harshly but the end product of this all? No goals and a sad draw. I'd played GMS instead. He's got more intelligence in his play against teams like the Hearts who are sitting back. I mean more intelligence = more unpredictability.

The main problem is still left, Celtic got no goals. Did the players play well, then?

 

Pretty much my thoughts on today's game

 

GMS has done nothing all season. Forrest is twice the player he is.

 

GMS is awful don't no what's wrong him maybe he's missing his best mate Armstrong but he has to improve otherwise I'd be selling him

Don't understand me wrong. There is a difference between producing goals and lacking goals in football. The result will be seen on the points table. Sorry if my English is not good enough.

Made it too easy for Hearts in the 2nd half wanted * to go past his man and into the box but he hit a cross in most times. Thought Forrest and Commons should have swapped sides a bit, it all became too predictable.

Bad day at the office for a lot of the players .
Rogic had a good game along with Forrest but the rest were below par .
