Is he managing to stay clear of injuries with you? He could never stay fit for any length of time up here.

I really liked Kayal. He was my favourite player for a while. There was one game in particular against them at Ibrox where he totally bossed the midfield. I'll always remember him for that.

I'm happy to hear he's doing well but it makes me sad at the same time because it means he could have still had a future here and I didn't really want him to leave.

One of the reasons it took me so long to like Deila was because he just got shot of Kayal when he was playing great. Start of last season he was on a good run and looking a bit like his old self before the injuries and that * * sold him

"* *" is a bit harsh, but he definitely should have kept him, at least until January. On form he would be our best midfielder I think.

Kayal probably sold to cement Johansens place in the team.

Same. He was excellent a few times against Rangers, as well.

Shame it turned a bit sour for him here, but I'm glad he's found his form again. Played very well again today according to Sky. Hopefully he is staying fit. If he does, Brighton have some player on their hands.

I was disappointed when we sold him, still a good player who at one point looked like a great one.

Glad he's doing well at Brighton :50:

They are top of the league in championship so could see kayal go up with them if they don't do a derby

Delighted to hear he's doing well. I was really surprised Deila didn't fancy him.

Just had a look on a Brighton forum. They have a thread "First name on the teamsheet?"

Kayal topped the poll with a massive 42.5% of the votes. I'm not in the least bit surprised. I used to * love that guy, was one of my favourite players before that * injury.

They call him King Kayal ffs :smiley-laughing002: delighted for him, hope he gets promoted with them :50:

Used to get a lot of needless yellows but he was a great player before the bold Lee put a change to that

you and me both mate. Not just because he looked the type of all action dynamic player that Ronny would like, but he was also on fire that pre season. Him and Matthews were excellent linking up.

Pukki also looked good that pre season though. :smiley-laughing002:

Just caught him on SSN there, interview after the game and the journo trying desperately to get him to call out the ref for the pen. Just said "it was a tough decision for the ref".

    Good guy is Kayal.
