How's Jozo's injury situation getting on?

Would love to see how he and Erik Sviatchenko would get on in a defensive partnership! :50:

i still think whoever the new manager is first person singed will be a centre back hopefully .were being linked to lad fae bolton but so are arsenal .jozo nearly a full season injured can see him being injured again t//b/h .too much of a risk going into next season and no getting another centre back in .

Hate to be cynical but I don't really think this guy will have a future at Celtic. Can see him being a bit of a Derk Boerrigter.

Aye I don't mean ability wise, I did like the look of Jozo. But the guy just picks up injury after injury. We've barely seen him play. Who knows.

Pre season and back to injury free fitness etc.
He got tossed in to the season too quickly from an injury he was carrying when he arrived. Been injured once more since then, perhaps too much too soon for the lad. Lets get him up and running and see him and erik as a partnership

He didn't train on Monday as he is still injured. Expect it will be another few weeks as he still has a bit of work to do. Kennedy said they don't want to rush him back.

Boyata didn't train either due to a hamstring injury. He needs a scan or something.

Makes you wonder why Zagreb sold him coz they had just qualified for the champions league and was meant to be their rising star they must have known about his injuries although he has looked decent when sort of fit dnt think he's been fully fit yet at Celtic so really hope he stays clear of injuries & has a good pre-season

If I recall, he had a knock when he signed for us, then took an injury in October? He is out the now with the same injury flaring up. But he was out for the season to go get it sorted rather than play through an injury, which he had been doing all along.

Hopefully that is him sorted though, I wouldn't rush him back Though.
Sviatchenko and boyata will be good for the qualifiers. Could do with another key signing though in case they take an injury of course

At the time of signing I'm sure Zagreb weren't that fussed about losing him.

on transfermarket it reckons we actaully did pay 5.5 million for him.always thought that site was pretty reliable on transfer fees.

i do think he will be a great player for us if he remains injury free.hes only 21 and represented croatia at every level under 21.zagreb have one of the best youth academies in the world luka modric, mateo kovacic, vedran corluka, dejan lovren, eduardo, milan badeji all coming from there in recent years so heres hoping.
