More and more rumours saying Henke will be at Ross hall tonight for a medical

Personaly it would be awesome if he did come back but I can't see it but We can't get away from the fact that these rumours keep coming up!!

The deal is ment to be a pay as you play deal.

Even Mince on Celtic Minded(Yes I know they Talk Crap most times)have said that he's heard from someone that he trusts implicitally that GS+co have indeed spoken to the great man,Whether that means he will come to Celtic or not, I don't know,Thats whats been said by Mince

 

well they spoke to him before he went to man utd last year but he still went to them

i have just seen Henrik Larrson in heathrow terminal 4 flying out?? Wat was he doin back here.. ive heard rumours of him rejoinin man utd. Is this more proof?

Nah, no chance in * he will come back to us, would love it but not gonna happen but i could see him going to an England club untill the Summer.

i think we should stop talking about larsson right now due the fact ppl are getting excited (including me) about larsson being linked with us, just wait (IF) celtic or henrik himself confirms the rumour

 

I agree! Should close this thread until something official is said. I get through the day without thinking about it then read on here and get excited about it all over again.

 

I wouldnt have Henrik back, personally think he was overrated !!!

SWEDISH international striker Henrik Larsson is poised to sign for Villa on loan until the end of the season. The 36-year-old Helsingborgs star was due back in Sweden yesterday for the start of their preparations for next month's UEFA Cup tie against PSV Eindhoven.

But he was seen in England earlier this week and it has now been reported he has agreed to a shock link-up with Martin O'Neill after their successful partnership at Celtic.
Larsson is best known for helping the Glasgow club win four titles in seven years.

He subsequently had a two-year spell at Barcelona, where he won two titles and the Champions League.
He joined Manchester United on a brief loan spell between January and March 2007 – and scored against Villa in a third-round FA Cup tie.​

 

well , that looks likely to end the stories that he'd be playing for us once more..

 

M O'N was an absolute legend of a manager but he'd sep over us for a player, he unsettled maloney and petrov then went it was reported went for players at celtic he didn't even e.g. naka. maybe celtic didn't actually do anything about signing him but if larsson wants to come back to celtic and M O'N is denying that from the fans when he knows how much he'd mean if he came back, i'd lose a serious amount of respect for him

 

Celtic legend Henrik Larsson has not yet decided whether he will stay at Helsingborg or move elsewhere on loan this month, amid claims that he is on the verge of joining Aston Villa on a short-term deal.

The 36-year-old star, who needs no further description following his seven wonderful years at Parkhead, spent part of last season on loan at Manchester United and has been linked with another switch as he continues to enjoy the twilight of his career.

According to the Birmingham Mail (owned by the same group as the Daily Record and Daily Mirror): "He (Larsson) was seen in England earlier this week and it has now been reported he has agreed to a shock link-up with Martin O'Neill after their successful partnership at Celtic."

The Swedish forward clearly gets around a lot, because as well as being seen in England he has also been spotted in Glasgow - not bad for a person who only returned from South Africa on Thursday!

Larsson told his diary at www.icons.com: "I arrived home on Thursday from a holiday in South Africa to discover there have been all sorts of rumours about where I'm going next and there have even been 'sightings' of me in Glasgow!

"Well, it's all very flattering that people care and if they want you to come to their team that is really nice. I'm glad that I'm wanted anywhere and I appreciate people's interest. But the honest fact is that I still haven't made any decision about what I'm going to do.

"I'm going to have a chat with the board here at Helsingborg this weekend about a few things and then I'll take my time and decide what I'm going to do. There are a few things that I need to discuss at Helsingborg."

Larsson praised Celtic and Barcelona ahead of the Champions League clash between two of his former clubs.

He said: "They (Celtic and Barcelona) are both amazing football clubs and two of the biggest sides in the world. It's right that two clubs like that should be playing each other at this level - it's where they both belong."

Although perhaps it is too much to ask for him to be thinking of returning to Glasgow for the rest of the season so he can feature in the match - and he did state "it will be very exciting to watch". Though never say never...!

 

Henke says he wont rule out a return !
