Me and my mate booked up. Hotel near Taksim Square. Would the U2 bar be the place to go?

I personally still haven't found what I'm looking for but by all accounts it's where the streets have no name but I've heard it's magnificent and likely to leave you numb :50:

Not as bad that one £375 for overnight stay but they should have made it arrive on Thursday morning and leave like Friday after noon, so you could enjoy the whole day of the game then have enough time to recover the next morning before going home.

    * will likely come out the game with their heads pounding done in and be hereded straight to the airport to hang about on a flight. * that.

You wonder how it's cheaper than Amsterdam though when the flight to Amsterdam is only about 30% of the way to Istanbul, in Amsterdam there is no over night stay but Turkey is overnight stay in 4 star hotel and the Airport in Turkey is further away from the hotel than it is from Airport in Amsterdam to stadium, you can get to the stadium in Amsterdam in about 20 minutes from the airport on a train that costs about £1.20 lol in Turkey theyd need to hire buses to get you from airport to hotel, to game and back to airport. :97::97::97:

Of the people I know who use these charter flights, going out the day before the game is much preferred. It gives them, in effect, two days in the city.

"Now it's Instanbul not Constantinople, now it's..." If anyone over there gives you any * just keep calling the place Constantinople when you mention it, which is the proper name for it anyway.

We're staying in a hotel near Taksim sq. Going by the map we seem to be quite close to Besiktas ground. And across the water from Fenerbahce. With Istanbul having 14million people, I doubt getting a taxi is a great route to take.

So does anyone know a better way? Not keen on venturing on public transport across the city in colours neither to be honest.

I think a lot of Celtic fans will be getting a ferry from Kabatas port (near Taksim Square) over to Kadikoy (about 20 min walk from Fener stadium, where I imagine we'll have an escort of some description).

EDIT: this was Galatasaray fans making a similar journey over to Fenerbahce a cutla year ago :50:

When Chelsea played there a few years back, buses were put on for them from Taksim square to the stadium and then back again after the match. Ferry sounds most appealing to get there and hopefully can jump on a similar bus to get us back.

That was against Galatasaray though was it not, which is very close to Taksim Square? I don't think it would be realistic to do the same for us, as bus from Taksim Square to Fener in rush hour traffic could literally take 3 hours each way.

Hi everybody I am from İstanbul You can ask about İstanbul and Fenerbahce. You will fly to Atatürk Airport. ;You can use Metro or Havataş Bus. Havataş bus going to Taksim directly. You can stay Taksim hotels because safe area and had many pub or restaurant. And match day simple way for travel is ferry. You can see Bosphorus. But Fenerbahce fans are great supporter. KAdıköy is maybe dangerous for you. If you say something about Fenerbahce starts fighting. But you must go to directly stadium. I am living in Kadıköy and Fenerbahce fun. Keep away from Genç Fenerbahçeliler group. And ?
