    I'd agree with bits of what Sutton said. Performance wise he was spot on. I can't accept that we aren't a financial Champions league team though when Malmo are in it..
    Celtic showed no desire.

    But theres really not much differance between spending £2million and £20million.

    Spening £20million probably means you have signed some younger decent players, spending £2million probably means you've signed more older experienced players or youngsters and the likes on bosmans.

    Its a similar level of player though.

    Like in Lennon's first season I think we won at Ibrox with a team who only cost £3.4million or something when the hun team cost like £22million but it wasnt that our team was much weaker at the time it just had a lot of bosman types Mulgrew, Majstorovic, Matthews, Ledley and whoever.

    Celtic playing teams like Malmo, Maribor, Dinamo Zagreb, Legia Warsaw will always be very tight games.

    I've voiced my dislike for Sutton on here but since the Deila interview I've changed my tune and tonight he was 100% right and I loved his anger when talking about the disallowed goal.

    The guys behind the goal are idiots like he said.

    As a Celtic player I thought he was incredible. A lion that gave everything every time he played.

    As a commentator his voice is droning, his opinions stink and he is a broken record player.

    If he was that knowledgable about what to do in certain situations he wouldn't be a failed manager that no one wants to employ other than BT Sports.

    This is a peter lawell thread . ( hibs had similar thread many moons ago if u want to achieve u need to invest for * sake were debating between efe and a 19 yr old for right back and griffiths and cifti for center forward that's far from champions lge standard and scott brown and Bitton have no competition . Invest before the season starts, get rid of who ever doesn't want to wear the jersey and build from there , not add after we are * again
