    Nakamura on his way probably

I wouldn't want him purely for the fact his wage bill would be too big and he's already played in the CL this year

Harry Kewel has all the ability in the world. But has a stinking attitude he is a bit like Viduka plays when he fancies it. Not someone to have in the trenches with you. Would be a waste of alot of money. Hope this rumour is untrue.

Where's his exorbitant wages getting paid from? and what's attracting him to the SPL when he could have his pick of clubs worldwide?

Kewell's contracts goes out at the end of the season. If Strachan would try to get him, he would get him for a small transfer fee (2-3M). Had alot of injuryproblems, but when he's fit he plays great. Not one of the best in the world longer, but still an amazing player. I'll say yes (even thought Liverpool will get weaker without him).

He is a great talent when he is not injured. I'm not sure about the kind of wage demands he'd be looking at but he has the potential to be a big star at celtic but couldn't overshadow naka

Hes better than Naka. But hes far to injury prone and would cost a shitlaod just to sit in the stands at park head. Benitez likes him anyway so he'll probably stay in Liverpool until he returns to Australia.

I scratch my head sometimes at why people take the time out firstly to create such a rumour and secondly to sit and debate it. Kewell is not being touted by Celtic, there you go end of debate.

    I found the Kewell one

    Celtic Kop Kewell deal
    By Steve Bates
Harry Kewell is set to sign for Celtic this summer after being told by Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez that he can leave Anfield.
The 29-year old Australian is heading for Glasgow, with Liverpool calling time on his injury-blighted five-year stay on Merseyside.
Celtic boss Gordon Strachan has been closely monitoring Kewell's situation. It is understood preliminary talks have taken place already and that the former Leeds star is prepared to move his family to Scotland.
Kewell - the youngest player ever to gain a cap for his country - has also asked Benitez to be released for a training camp in Singapore, with national boss Pim Verbeek naming him in his squad preparing for a March 26 World Cup qualifier in China

Harry Kewell is as good or better than just about every player in Scotland. When he is fit.

That is the problem. He would have to undergo an extremely thorough medical and even then it would be a huge gamble if this story is true. Plus his wage demands would be as big as any player we currently have.

    Looks like a non-starter.

if kewell can stay uninjured for the rest of this season, i would sign him on a 2 year deal with the option of another 2 if he stays injurys free, most of the time. Also if he would come here he would have to take a massive wage cut and just wondering if he would do that.
