OLD FIRM CANCELLED

Correct decision * all. I'm as saddened as any other fan at Phils untimely death but as the old saying goes 'life goes on'. This cancellation has annoyed a lot of Celtic fans I know. Surely there doesn't have to be TWO games postponed because of this. *, there wasn't even a game canceled when the great Jinky died. I think its an over reaction.

 

And for all you lot saying good mcgeady will play , if it is played next week or anytime before the 19th he will still be banned.

100% correct decision. As someone has already pointed out, a young man has died on a football pitch 2 days ago. He and his family belong to a larger family...ie Celtic.

The idea of kicking a ball so soon after this has happened will probably feel sickening for a lot of our players and I for one could easily have given the game a miss if it had gone ahead.

If some of you are disappointed, tough *. I can imagine some of the idiots on both sides screaming their poisonous chants and slogans, veins bulging out their necks, yeah what a great way of remembering a young father.

 

Just so you know mate there's no suitable date between now and the 19th that can fit the OF game, it looks like it'll prob be the 23rd

I doubt its the worst post this year tbh. And theres no need to call me a selfish *. I'm that selfish that I gave my full day to Phils memory. For the game to be called off has denied the opportunity of the fans to express their sadness. The game could have been played in memory of Phil and could have been a classic. We will never know.

Anyway enough of this, thats my opinion and thats that.

As much as I really want to see this match and have been buzzin about it for months, if it's what Celtic want, then i'm all for it. I can wait....I can wait.

 

The family are awaiting the outcome of the post mortem and this forum is full of threads about beating the huns and questioning why the game was called off. It's a game of football for goodness sake. Who gives a * why morons like Mr larkhall or Pat Madug wants the game to go ahead. I for one respect the decision, so let's get over it and get on.
