His ability to anticipate what a player is going to do is exceptional.

Sometimes he will dive in with a slide tackle, other times he will show him down the line or inside. Very very rarely does he make the wrong decision.

Aye, he just gets better and better with each game. The point you make about his ability to anticipate what a player is going to do was exactly what he done on Sunday when they were awarded the penalty. He knew he couldn't win the ball, so he used the head and pulled out the tackle, just a pity we had a shocking set of officials who somehow viewed it as a foul.

JK: "@kierantierney1 has a slight shoulder injury and probably a doubt for tomorrow. Shouldn't be a problem for next week."

    * me after Don Cowie tried to go through him and all he gets is a slight shoulder injury from earlier on in the match! Built like a tank and played through the pain barrier for us! Love KT! It's crazy to thing I'm in the same age group as him!

Love this bhoy,I know he has been capped, but does Strachan actually rate him?cant remember him talking KT up?A guy on the forum the other week described KT as a left footed Gary Neville,I think that is exactly the type of player KT is,Legend in the making.

He should, he is arguably the best Scottish player currently playing.

Superb week in week out for 40 odd games in a row now in defence and attack, superb crosser and passer of a ball, pace, runs up and down the pitch non stop, solid as * in the tackle.

Unbelievable for me how good he is.

I agree mate, sky is the limit for this kid, really hope he can stay injury free.massive potential,if he was English and playing in England he would be worth about 25mil right now imo.

Aye, if he was playing for Southampton or Everton and English they would be valuing him at £30million already and calling him the new Ashley Cole etc

Hopefully goes under the radar more but if we qualify for the CL and he comes up against top teams like Barca/Bayern/Dortmund * will notice him right away.

He broke through at 17 so if he leaves after his testimonial year I wouldn't grudge him that lol, seriously cant see him wanting to leave any time soon.

We seem to have a golden generation of youngsters coming through right no. KT is thebest yougnster we have produced since......well I dont know exactly because he is not comparable to anybody we have producedin 20 odd years maybe.

He is above and beyond the Mcgeady's and maloneys and the fairest comparison to him would be to a certain Mr. McGrain- yes KT is that good

I remember him losing the ball high up the pitch yesterday but I don't think any of them came to anything due to him tracking back. Did I miss something?

No particular incident I just think the number 2 he right back and the winger where getting way to much space to him being so high up. Last season nobody would even get time on the ball

Tierney is a very good player, a product of Lennoxtwon.
Just wish we had a better back up than Izzy now.
Can Janko play left back too ?
