    The board had led us to believe they did "everything in their power to sign Craig Bellamy". Fair enough, whether its true or not, this is now a tangle they have got themselves into....If they really did do everything they could to sign Bellamy, they must have had an offer accepted, which would be at least 5 million quid. We've spent 2 million on Zuraw, leaving us 3 million in the kitty, needing to be funded for a midfielder, defender and goalkeeper. Do you guys think the rest of the money will actually be spent? Your views please?

    Nah i can see it going on a couple of defenders, at the end of the day, there are enough * bosmans out there that would be of a higher quality than those who have left, im gonna do a search for the bosmans and post them here.

    Realistically, i think we will probably get Niemi and Lundekvam and that'll be it.
    The Algerian fella - who knows. If he asks for '£stupid' then forget it, if he's free and wants somewhere in the 15k per week bracket, he may be worth a chance...

    Cant wait to see WGS first line up

    Is there any Bellamy money? i thought we had agreed that the board are playing silly buggers and waited out the whole Bellamy Zurawski Saga. The money was spent on the latter in the end and there may not be a so called 'Bellamy Fund'

    Zurawski has been a bargain from what I have heard and probably well worth the money. Sounds like he could do as good of a job as Bellamy.

    I was of the opinion that we had the money for Zurawski and Bellamy so we should still have around 5million to spend! Forget Figo, we need a keeper, 2 defenders and a playmaker (maybe the Algerian) before the season begins!

    I think the money,weve got,we should buy a good goalkeeper+defender+playmaker,that would suit me fine bhoys,with zurawski+Aliadiere,up-front,a playmaker playing off the 2 of them,lennon+petrov,we will score lots off goals,cant wait 4 new season 2 get under way +the C.L.Quilfier+the friendly games as well.     Sadly he was out of contract at the start of the summer but he has now signed a new contract. I'm not sure Celtic even made an approach for him.

    Couldn't agree more. I wonder what has happened to the Paul Hartley transfer. Anyone who scores about 15 league for Hearts last season would have been a bargain for £500,000.

    the word "shambles" has been used with regard to the situation at Parkhead if we don't see some money spent. Just as a matter of interest "a shambles" refers to a place where blood is spilt when meat is carved - boy oh boy might that not be an apt desciption of what the fans would like to do to the board!!! Ouch!
