Cheers :50: Lets hope he picks himself up from that. Changed days from 2003/04 when we had five keepers on our books.

Youth games, he's our development squad keeper and he's played numerous times for them.

As above. I've being saying he's * on this Forum for well over a year whilst many others seem to think he's good enough. And in fact still do.

Cierzniak? He's left them after his contract expired.

I'd take him as well, he tried like an absolute demon against Celtic and for me would be a decent enough back up.

Cool mate, I was hoping someone who'd seen him more often through the youths might comment.

I too would be happy with Cierzniak, he's had a couple of high profile clangers at Utd, not enough to put me off though.

We had one who practically begged on live tv for a new contract in may. He has now left the club.

Cierzniak...we'd have been as well keeping Zaluska.

Carbon copy keepers, for me. Decent shot stoppers but pish at everything else.

Should it not be players who are at the club at the moment we should be picking,

Zaluska/Cierzniak is the glass ceiling as far as back up keepers go.

Anyone better will want to play games, not pick skelves out their * season after season.

Our back up keepers need rotated otherwise you end up having to pitch in a keeper that hasn't played regular football in years if there's ever an injury.

    With our current squad.

    Gordon

    Lustig Boyata Virgil Izzy

    Brown Bitton

    GMS Johansen Armstrong

    Griffiths

If Virgil leaves then a new centre half or Mulgrew in for him. If Ciftci signs, then he'll be up top.

I can't say i know much about Fasan, as I haven't watched any reserve games... But I agree we need a number 9. Griffiths is a good player, but I'm looking for someone better to be playing there.
