    It would also be declining in Manchester had those foreign owners not went to Man City as they were always a wee * team and Man U currently have suffered for a few years even when you go back to under Ferguson and they were knocked out Europe by Basel and Athletic Bilbao and possibly Ajax, cant really mind and recently they're struggling as well.

    Probably a lack of talent coming from Northern England, Jordan Henderson is probably the best player form Northern England the now unless im forgetting someone and he's pretty average at the top level, then again hardly anyone decent from Southern England either but as he says their teams can probably attract all the better players to live in or near London.

    In the main it comes down to the fact that the EPL imports most of its talent these days, and those foreigners want to live in London for the most part.
