    We're quite defensive because theres ABUS everywhere who'd love to get at us somehow, and since they dont have any decent arguments they call us glory hunters, usually liverpool fans who started following liverpool in the 70s or 80s, when they were winning titles left and right incidentally, but irony is lost on these poor souls

    but Im a manc from before fergie so you can't even have a go at me because of that. my whole family is either united or celtic supporters, there was never any chance of any of us supporting less succesful teams that play in blue

    van gaal's man management is his weaker point, and a definitive concern. Then again you'd do better than listen to stoichkov on any matter, the guy is a certified moron

    4th place? theres not much difference between the supposed first, *, and the other three, so we could win the league (wouldnt put money) or finish in any of the other 3 places. Id be surprised if we finish fourth to be honest, I think we'll end up second or third, but winning the league is far from being out of our reach

    people who dislike us are going to be surprised this year because we'll be back in the main picture. Not like the mighty united of all, but complicated opposition for anyone and challenging on some fronts (league, a few domestic cups and perhaps one or two upsets in europe)

    Have you seen them play lately? They're compact and difficult to beat, personnel be damned. I'm not sure if they're going to put up a title challenge this year, but they're a lot closer than many people seem to think.

    Yes. If Southampton had better strikers they'd have scored at least 4 at the weekend. The better teams will punish them.

    I only seen the highlights of the Man U game at the weekend but they looked lucky. Southampton hit the post at 1-0 up and then could have had a penalty, on another day could have gone 2-0 up quite easily then the Man U equaliser was offside so they got away with it a bit.
