you gotta pre-game it in scotland now.

but if you get caught you will get arrested and banned from attending matches for the year is my undestanding now.

You are very aggressive, you been on the sauce?

Should learn some self restraint when it comes to the drink.

I would like to think if the stadium had drink outlets throughout then people wouldn't be standing in the streets tanning bottles before the game and therefore the majority of people would just get a light buzz at the game instead of getting hammered.

However, that's in an ideal world of course but this is Scotland we are talking about.... :smiley-laughing002:

If I remember correctly the 1980 cup final was the final nail in the coffin of allowing alcohol at games. Scotlands attitude towards drinkng in general has changed alot since then, everyone knows the boundaries and most stay within them. Yeah, you'll get a few that will kick the * out of it but you get that in any walk of life when alcohol is involved. Personally think the football fans in Scotland deserve a bit more credit and trust from the football authorities and law in this country to show that attitudes have changed. Myself, not bothered whether I sit with a pint or not but it would be nice to have the option.

As much as I'd like a pint during the game I wouldn't be paying around £4.20 for a plastic cup filled with flat beer, plus if I had two is miss the game for being at the toilet every 5 mins. People should have the choice though and I don't think anyone would get carried away at the game due to the price and quality, think most would have a token pint before the game and * all at half time due to the queue

I could easily leave a pint while the games on, I'm murder for * all the time as well so I'd be up and coming back to a pint probably kicked over by my seat by every *..

Trying to think of the last time I drank during a game, might of been Stuttgart? Can't mind..

I'm sure it's like €2,50 for a beer at the Millerntor and you get €1 back if you take your 'glass' back. Chilled and it's Astra, so it's pleasant.

The situation of no alcohol being sold by food/drink stalls inside the ground in 2015 is utterly ridiculous but is typical of how football fans are treated in this nanny state country.

We are not talking about it being like it was before it was banned or like Germany, or elsewhere abroad, where you can buy beer and take it onto the terrace. We are talking about it being how it operates down South.

At least, after years of battle, standing areas are being brought back so there is a glimmer of hope yet.

To be honest, the amount of times i've been in a toilet at Parkhead and seen a toilet full of bucky bottles etc.

Would admit i've went in with bucky, vodka etc. before at CP and never got searched at the turnstiles and i sit near too where a lot of stewards are as well, with no problem drinking it

Apart from that though, having been too games at the emarites, wembley, stamford bridge and Old Trafford, if you don't want to miss the football, you are lucky to get two bottled beers anyway
