Agreed, don't see why he gets all the hate. As long as he plays next to a comfortable commanding centre back like Erik he's fine.

If people are upset at being told to shut the * up then they really are following the wrong sport.

Seriously, *! Big Vic used to tell people to * off all the time on twitter. Besides which, if you walked into a pub and gave a barman * he'd * you out of it too. If you don't want it, don't dish it out

He's a * donkey. I do like the look of Sviatchenko though.

He'd done nothing massively wrong recently.

Prefer him to Ambrose and he has attributes that Simunovic doesn't have. Better in the air for one.

I am more than willing to give him another season or so. I've said it before in this thread but we need to remember he is 25 and has never played regular football in his entire career.

He's played more games in the past 6 months than he had played in the previous 5 or so year near enough. It's bound to take time.

He has good attributes. He's just not a ball playing centre half, plain and simple.

The presence of Sviatchenco will do him some good. But I fear for his place when Simunovic will be fit again.

He's a good solid CB, but never a ball playing defender. Delia's way of playing probably doesn't suit him, but Delia and the scouts should have known that before they bought him. Jozo and Erik would be my CB pairing with Boyata for cover/rotation.

Amazing that a guy that's missed a chunk of development is getting better with a run of games eh!

Has a lot of things going for him, could end up being a very astute signing.

I'm not fully convinced but has been reasonably solid recently.

Totally agree with this. He's a good defender, passing is probably his worst attribute and he sees loads of the ball and is expected to start attacks with our system. Still tries to do it and doesn't shirk from it though.

Fantastic header of the ball and strong in the tackle, needs to improve with the ball but that will come with time

I quite like him tbh. I think Jozo will have a job getting his place back

I think Jozo looks pish. Any centre half that lets the ball bounce should have their baws booted and his positioning is beyond questionable. Not sure why he's had such an easy ride of it from the support thus far.

The guy is OK defending but he's not the best on the ball. Bit like bobo but nowhere near as menacing.

Really think he will be a good signing, would like to see more aggression in him though.

I think for his age we have to expect that he's not the finished product yet, but there's definitely talent there. I definitely think perhaps Boyata-Erik might be the way to go though given they've got far more experience.

Jozo has far more experience than Boyata...

That's part of Boyata's problem, for his age he's played nowhere near enough first team football.
