    I think he is more comfortable in a deeper line. He done well tonight. Still a wee bit of iffyness though in his game.

    Looked 10 times the player alongside jonzo, which I'm unnecessarily going to grasp with the optimism of a giddy schoolboy as signs we might have a new defensive combo in the works.... (I can dream...)

    he needs to stick to what he is good at, he is a good no-nonsense defender and we have other players in the team who can bring the ball out from the back which isn't his strength

    He never seems to get a clean header on the ball when defending it.

    So far, not a patch on Denayer.

    Like I have said before I think he has good defensive attributes but he isn't a ball playing centre half. Needs to keep it simple.

    A terrible passer but don't think he's a total bombscare. No shame in not getting a look-in at City.

    In saying that I really wished we'd tried desperately to get Denayer back for another season, instead of having a completely new and untested centre back pairing.
