Goalie problem? - Maybe Dudek?

AAboot Lobont, he was brilliant in 2003/2004, but now he kinda did a few slip-ups, thats all. There's also been a bit of a conspiration at Ajax. Romania is in the same WC 2006 group as Holland. Mitea nad Lobont both play at Ajax, but since the WC qualifiers have started, they are left oot of the sqaud fer no reason. I think the dutch are tryin' tae make them loose their good form! Both are brilliant players, and I'm not saying that because I'm Romanian ( truth be told, I'm kinda disgusted by this country, I love Scotland more ), but because it's true

 

Could'nt agree with your assessment of Mitea mate. Hes quick, il give him that, but i dont think he'd cause much concern to the Dutch. He did have bundles of potential but hes outgrown that stage and hasnt progressed as expected. Maybe they were left out because of the change in managers?

 

Dont hink Dudek would be any good for us. I would quite like to see Labont at Celtic seems a good keeper and isnae an OAP, this would probably be the boards 1st choice because he should come to us on the cheap.

Are you not keen on him Macel? How would you describe his attributes and areas of weakness?

 

I've seen Boruc in dozens of games. I've also seen a lot of Dudek and though I really like Jerzy and believe he's a great guy, I simply value Artur as a better keeper.

 

when i was younger i always thought that our own Tom Boyd would have been a great goalie for the hoops, i often remember him acting like one, picking up the ball in the box and hand balling! but then this was in the past and celtic missed out on a golden oppertunity again!!!! *

 

i think my fellow tims out there have forgotten about D.Marshall,he would be alot better than dudek,in my opinion,hes been great in the games hes played in espiecally the game in the nou-camp.he was brill.

 

a couple of outstandin games isnt enough. The lad just hasnt been consistent, hes still very young, was thrown in at the deep end and at time made some blunders. Too much pressureon young shoulders IMO.

 

The only thing Dudek is famous for is blatantly cheating every penalty that Milan took in the CL final and his infamous howlers against Man U every season. Leave well enough alone!

Just read on the BBC website about celtic being interested in Stipe Pletikosa , who is currently out of favour at Shaktar Donetsk.

 

Thats right mate croatia's goalkeeper has said celtic r intrested in his signature his club have said that if any thing happens it will be during the following week(that was from itv text pg 403)hope it's true though think he would be a good assett for the club.

 

Niemi would be brill for celts but i hink strachen wants younger players, so Boruc would be a good choice at 22 i hink. We are really lookin for a young experienced keeper but they are so hard to come by and they also can be extremely expenisive
