    The celtic board sound like there talking sense and looking to the future for the club.

    Well seeing as i'm always slating the * here's something thats a bit more pleasing on the ear. (even if it's been promised for ghod knows how long)

    Yeah it all bodes well for the future. I also heard somehwere lese about some kind of tie in with Ajax to help fund theyre world wide academys, though not sure how concrete that info is...

    I thought that a share issue years ago was to pay for the new youth and training facilities so it is about time that Celtic have done something about it. For a massive club like Celtic the facilities at the Barrowfields are an absolute disgrace.

    It all seems good, but my only fear is that we try to do it on the cheap. Celtic's board and their biscuit tin mentality surely realise that if its worth doing, its worth doing properly, and no cutting corners or penny pinching, * knows with all the share issues over the years, they must have enough money to build something decent.

    Absolutely. We have a real oppertunity to make a difference here. I for one would like to see more homegrown talent playing regularly - it would even have a knock on effect for our national team.
