One one hand, them getting through helps the co-efficient, which helps us get further in europe in coming seasons.

On the other hand it gives them more money to compete with us domestically.

On one hand it boosts the prestige of scottish football to have two teams in the last 16.

On the other hand it makes me sick to my stomach to see those heinous neanderthals winning any football match, never mind prestigious ones.

Add that together? I don't give a monkeys.

but of course I want them to go through, I want them to get as much cash as possible, even some more than celtic.. I want our only opponent, our arch enemy to be as rich and as strong as possible.. I want them to be better than us and want them to win the league.. I want to be only the 2nd best team in scotland again..

    crazy putos who voted yes

Am well excited for this match, rooting on Lyonthe whole way.

I love seeing this lot lose and you can see how nervous all their fans are now because we got thro and at the start at looked as if it would be the other way about.

That's one of the main reasons, apart from the obvious, that I want them to fall on their *. At the start all we heard was how they are world beaters, now they are qauking in their boots. C'mon the Lyon, put this mob back down where they belong.

    Out!

and regarding the Coefficient, the points theyd get for a Uefa cup win are the same as a CL so it makes no difference, well actually they'll prob make quite a few more considering we're with the big boys.

I dont wanna share the pot, 5m all to us sounds fine.

Good news to whoever it is that wants Rangers out. Lyon won there last league game 5-0. Karim Benzema's fit + Juninho's on form. Scoring another free kick. Things aren't looking great for Rangers then.

it would be good for scotland to see rangersin the last 16, But Rangers will get the same amount of money as Celtic, which we dont want, because last year when we got to the last 16 and they didnt, we outbidded them for 3 players i dont think it would be the case this time around!

thats my thoughts exactly. There is advantages and disadvantages both ways but I think the arguement re: the CL money giving financial advantage swings me against my better self and towards hoping they go out. There is no question that the OF can only afford big signings if they get CL money. Who gets the most CL money over the next few years (particulalry if one gets far more of it) will dictate who dominates the SPL. That really is the main point of the CL to us - a money quarry.

I want them to get knocked out by Lyon and then get beaten by Larsson and Helsingborg in the UEFA Cup. Helsingborg are already offically in the last 32 of the UEFA Cup so it could happen.
