    Hopefully Johansen is advanced with Armstrong behind. Johansen has been played in that deep position umpteen times and it never works.

    St. Mirren Park is a * little playing surface - pretty tight wee park.

    The team needs players who are better at linking up with wee short passes as opposed to wide counter attacking-minded.

    I can see exactly what he's doing with the likes of Forrest, Commons and Stokes. GMS and Armstrong are both cup tied so he's obviously trying to keep them sweet for when the cup games return, instead of giving them little playing time while GMS and Armstrong can both play he's giving them some playing time leading up to the games. As for Bittons omission, played a full 90 mins two days ago, couple that with the flying as well he's earned a rest.

    Good man management by Ronny imo.
