Celtic team top 6 EPL

I think you could match most of the teams over 90 minutes with the exception of the Top Six, our problem would be lasting the whole season with the existing squad.

However give us £35 Million to invest in the size of the squad and we would certainly be in the top ten after one season.

Let face the EPL is rather hyped up by all the English media, our record against the so-called superior English teams over the years is very good, so I wouldn't fear them if we were allowed the same amount of investment as most of them per season.

 

I don't think you can discount the effect of the fans either, instantly we would be the most feared ground to visit.

I'd take Graham Shinnie over Izzy. Denayer isn't ours. Lustig is injury prone. Bitton has only played 6 months etc.. I think you're overrating our team.

It's true. Maybe the Shinnie thing was a bit unfair, but every time we've came up against a decent European side etc Izzy gets found out.. so to say he's EPL quality is * in my opinion. Bitton could be class but he's only been a regular for 4 or 5 months (IN THE SPL), to say he's EPL quality already is again, *. Lustig is injury prone is he not?

What is epl quality? Scott arfield?

 

We would need 1 or 2 better strikers. Then we would probably come around 9th or 10th, near the likes of West Ham and Newcastle.

 

No you didn't. You immediately said i was talking * rather than debate it. How many times have you watched Shinnie like? Against us only i'd assume. GMS/Arsmstrong/Stokes/Griffiths all struggled against us so it's not really a fair assessment. I watch Izzy every single week and just don't rate him very highly. He's decent at best.

Burnley are a team with the same sort of budget we have, and that's why they can't afford EPL standard players, and it's why they'll almost certainly get relegated. So naw, he's not EPL quality.

I watch plenty of Scottish football thankyou, so take your guesswork somewhere else, he's a very good standard spl left back, but Izzy is better, by a distance..
This coming from someone who doesn't rate Izzy as highly as most on here, nowhere near it in fact..

Arfield has been one of there best players this year, but that's not the point as he's playing for a * team who will be relegated from the EPL. Ok..

 

Because i don't rate him and you do, why does that make you right? I've seen plenty people complain about Izzy's positional sense, crossing etc. Izzy has had one assist in the league this season. Considering he puts in 2/3/4 crosses every single game, i think that's pretty poor. Coupled with his shocking positional sense, you might see why i don't rate him as highly as you do.

Again, you said is he EPL standard. I don't think he is, you must think he is. He's scored 2 goals and had 1 assist this season..

 

I think the fact shinnie only moved from caley to Aberdeen, despite being able to sign a pre contract for anyone, including us, who are actively seeking left back competition, helps my argument..

Did you even read my comments on Izzy?

I asked what epl standard was as well, help me out? Give me something to go on, I put forward one example?

 

He controlled the midfield for large parts of the Inter games, against a EPL quality midfielders.
