What was the company you wanted to name and shame but had to ask the mods first?

Can't because apart from me getting in trouble the site could be shut down if the scumbags decide to go to court for slander or defamation.
Don't want that on my conscience.

I'll tell you what Drakhan, you have one * of a life mate.

You posted a thread at the end of June last year telling us that you had three job offers on the table, all with good job prospects and decent pay, only to be moaning about wanting a decent job just over a month later due to being on a zero hours contract.

A few months after that you were looking to start a business that could help 15 million people.

    Now you're starting another job?

    You must be one of the unluckiest * on the planet as well. Some of the stuff I remember you talking about includes;

You attend anger management courses after breaking a window, as well as a guys jaw and arm.

Got hassled by TV licensing at 8am on a Saturday morning.

you were coughing up blood and vomiting at the end of last year

You got overcharged by Sky on a £25 phonecall to a loan company, even though you were away picking up a new car at the time the call was made.

Had a guy from Brighthouse hammering on your door, threatening to force it in, all because they thought you might be late with your payment (guy appeared before you were actually late with payment).

Signed up to a credit reference agency only to find four defaulted accounts linked to your name even though you never had any of them.

Had your email address banned because you used the name of a gas used by the *'s to kill Jews in your chosen name.

Ordered by the police to fix your number plate light on your car, opened the boot to do so and locked your car keys in your boot.

And that's just the stuff that comes to mind! :smiley-laughing002:

I'm now self employed so I basicly have a zero hours contract. I set up my own limited company where my work pays my company then I pay myself. My work helped me set it all up. My work could bin me anytime and I wouldn't have a leg to stand on so I suppose I'm on zero hours aswell. Not to fussed tbh.

You don't have a zero hours contract. You're self employed.

There "appears" to be more drama in a week of Drakhans life than in 6 months worth of eastenders :smiley-laughing002::97:

Which I think would be even worse as you will not be able to claim unemployment benefits as you have not been an employee and your pension will be much less (at least that is the case of here in Belgium).

He should still be entitled to state benefits based on previous NI contributions. I would assume he will have made arrangements too continue making NI contributions as a self employed person. Although technically, as he has set up a company, he is an "employee" of the company. If he has taken advice from his accountant he will also likely be paying himself a very low regular salary and taking the rest as dividends (reduces the tax payable).

Trust me, in 20-30 years time everyone's pensions will be much less :smiley-laughing002:
