I don't mean he was defeated in his ability, he was not given an opportunity to show that. What I meant was, he has admitted defeat in that he does not enjoy living down there. Does that mean that every player we sign then becomes a reject of the club we signed them from.

He hasn't been up to his standard this season, scoring 16 goals. I think that he's overrated TBH, the only reason why he scores so many goals is that he gets a large number of easy opportunities in every match (spurns many of them as well). He's getting old anyway and has got a rather hot temper.

BTW dq-cfc, Ono's a central midfielder. He's quality, he played a big part in Feyenoord's UEFA cup triumph about 5 years ago, although he's probably lost it by now. Very injury-prone as well.

If you want a fullback from Japan, then Komano's your man. He's one my favourite players, he plays for the national team, he can play on both sides and his club is set to fight in the playoffs to keep their place in the J-league. Surely a quality player like him would be searching for a new club.

    living down there?

surely the cultural aspects cant be that much of a difference?
    Does he miss his irn-bru?

maybe for family reasons, but he would have known about that when he * off.

im not doubting his abillity at all, i actually think he should have came pretty good in the prem, however he hasn't, and has left a bitter taste in many fans mouths by going away after what celtic did for him.

Don't you agree that O'neil hasn't given him a chance down there.
He rarely plays him and when he does half the time he puts him up front (never a striker IMO). Same story as when he had him at Celtic.
If GS is the man to make him tick, then great for us.

hope he was honda.. the player who scored the bendy free-kick.. that would be fun too see scotland's number 2 mcgregor's face if nakamura and honda have a free-kick edge of box.

I think we should go for Jackie Chan - maybe get a game as a left back,

Ironically, I've recently heard that he is seeking a move to Europe...It seems like that he'll most probably be going to Germany or Holland, but let's not give up hope:icon_mrgreen::shamrock:
