Who scored the first goal you witnessed for Celtic?

Pierre van Hooijdonk, 1995 Scottish cup final against Airdrie.

Charlie Nicholas against man city in Dublin, it was a tournament in 1992 and we beat them 3-1,recently found a video of the game on YouTube

 

First trophy I seen us lift. 5 years as a Celtic fan without seeing them win something is unheard of nowadays.

 

1980 cup final, hampden riot, George Mc Cluskey i think. Remember watching it from behind Danny mc grain hit a nothing shot and mc cluskey redirected it and it bounced like slow motion into the net. Then saw nothing for 5 minutes as the dust that came up from the stand blinded me. Just a young lad i was, first time outside of Ireland, first time in Glasgow. Lived in Belfast at the time and my wee ma let me go on condition the guy who lived next door minded me, (* was * the whole weekend, i had to mind him). Watched the riot thinking, *, this is great, just like home, except the cops are on * horses haha, * that all about.

 

Had to look it up again, but first Celtic goal I saw in the stadium was Jarošík against Hearts in November 2006. Remember that it was 0-1 but that we managed to win at the end 2-1. Became a Celtic supporter that day.

 

Mark Burchill when we beat St Johnstone 4-1 in 2000.

Had to check it up but I think it was that match.

 

Chris Sutton against Raith in the League Cup in September 2000. Tommy Johnson got 2 and Alan Thompson got one as well

Morten Weighorst (spelling?). Born in 93, first game, 99 league cup quarter against St Mirren i think it was. Stephan Mahe got sent off. I remember * myself at everybody screaming at the ref etc and i didn't want to go back for a while Anyway, pretty sure Weighorst got a late winner

 

4-0 vs Aberdeen 25th October 2003. My 15th birthday and Henke scored a hat-trick, Sutton for the other and for two of Henrik's goals, he celebrated right in front of me and my dad by the corner flag. Unbelievable. Talk about a birthday present.

It was Di canio scoring into the away end in an early season game , possibly a friendly, sat in the upper Lisbon lions stand up until 2004, lucky enough to see many great goals into the goal directly below that stand.

 

First goal I saw was Lex Bailey against St Mirren in 1990 pretty sure it was his only goal

 

Probably the only game he played as well.

 

danny mgrain effort that was hit by him as the fulltime whistle was blown ,,,a great long distance shot in the net,, but didnt count f,f,s .. still a goal in my mind lol
