    Why bother :smiley-laughing002:

Why can't Croogle, shields etc. not appreciate that we have 2 good strikers on our hands in Griffiths and Guidetti. Just because Girffiths is playing well doesn't mean you have to slate Guidetti for the sake of it.. Similarly, jutst because we want Guidetti to start it doesn't mean we dislike Griffiths in any way.

We are Celtic SUPPORTERS remember :smiley-laughing002:

why cant you actually talk tactics and analysis instead of instantly going on the defensive about people " doubting " Griffiths ?

I've watched every minute Guidetti has played for us, as I hVe Griffiths. Griffiths' pace and movement is his game, hence why for all his goals he's had acres of space.

Guidetti is better at holding the ball up, yes. But technically they are both on the same level - yes they are, trust me, Guidetti is not that good - and Griffiths is faster, better movement and has a better shot on him. Hence why he is scoring goals and Guidetti isn't and hence why he should and will start tomorrow night.

You're just a troll, there's no point even discussing anything with you.

You just said earlier that Griffiths won't be able to get in behind their defence, that is doubting him.

You say things then wait for a response then proceed to deny saying whatever it was you said.

He doesnt have better movement mate , not in a month of sundays . He might move more and have a bettter work rate , but Guidetti makes better runs . Griffiths drifts out wide and runs into channels like alot of average strikers that rely on their pace do ( Kenny Miller being an example ) .

He is faster , not sure about finishing . But he does not have better movement .

    Knew this was coming though.

Folk will genuinely not want Guidetti to score in fear of a 'told you so' backlash but I couldn't care less.

If Griffiths went on and scored a hat-trick and sent us through I'd hardly be greeting about big sexy John not getting a start:56:

You'd almost think it was Griffiths that hadn't scored since November 2014, not Guidetti.

What are you on about :smiley-laughing002:

I said he wont be able to run in behind the Inter defence with the ease he has done agaisnt SPL defenders...instead of offering a reason why you think he will be able to run in behind them or be an effective option , ( debating ) you simply told me to stop " doubting " him . Start coming up with some reasons and some footballing input mate.

So why play Guidetti who can't even score against SPL defences?

Right . How many times do i need to repeat myself to you ?

I would play Guidetti because i think he will retain possesion better , give us more presence up top and bring the midfield into play more effectively than Griffiths .

So the new myth is that Guidetti is an 8ft monster that will batter anyone that comes near him. FFS, Guidetti will give us * all presence up top, he's out of shape for a footballer, slow and not particularly strong.

Griffiths may not be the strongest, but he works his * off and never gives up, he certainly wont be pushed to the ground and left there. He's also proven he can win headers against much taller opposition players.

Well we can agree to disagree but Guidetti is too slow and his movement is worse as a result.

You don't score headers when your 5 foot zero, having poor movement.

No , he will give us more presence up top and will hold the ball up . No Myths , just a fairly reasonable assumption .

I speak rationally and make clear points after a bit of contemplation . You should try it .

:smiley-laughing002: might be for the best :50:

Look , lets just hope one of these * can put the ball in the net and that Celtic win .

    But he won't.

He's slow. He's out of shape for a footballer. He's not particularly strong.

It's just another myth being thrown about to try and make Guidetti seem better than Griffiths.

The striker probably won't even * matter after this.

I can see one of the midfielders or Virgil grabbing a goal, out of everyone.

    Ronny plays with one striker.

What would be the point in trying to shoehorn in a striker that hasn't scored since November 2014?

It's honestly laughable that people are so desperate for him to start when you actually think of the time since he last put the ball in the back of the net.

Was favoring Griffbogason anyway, but Guidetti says he supported Inter as a child- can't be trusted. :97:

Supported our opponents as a child... Would somebody explain to him that that's not how that line works.

Easiest way to see who's movement and positioning is better, as far as the team goes, is to find out who gets more chances, scores more, assists in goals and attacks. A simple way aye, but who needs to get over complicated. Football is a simple game.

Certainly at this moments Griffiths has the better movement.
