The more I think about it the more I'm leaning towards Griffiths on the left over Stokes. I don't envy Deila :smiley-laughing002:

He could put out a 'second string' attacking 3 and nobody would notice :smiley-laughing002:

The question is about who you would rather led the line.

I wouldn't even think about playing Griffiths wide.

If a good team sits deep then surely that immediately stifles a player like Griffiths.

    Hopefully he does aye.

He has played him there before though and Griffiths does spend alot of his time drifting out wide in the channels. That's all I was getting at!

    Griffiths without a doubt.

    Bang on form just now.

Love how he always plays right on the shoulder of a defence. OK, he does get caught offside every now and again, but it only takes one opportunity for him to get through and score a goal, like we saw yesterday against St Johnstone.

Guidetti will come good again. He's a great player. But think Griffiths has much better pace and that could catch Inter out.

I made that point a few pages back, just seen this.

The 3 behind the striker, whoever it might be will probably be the most important thing. I think Guidetti's link up is better therefore he would be my choice.

I'm not denying for one moment that Griffiths is in the better form, you can't. However I think he might be less effective in this, hopefully wrong as it seems likely he will start.

We just need to take whatever chances come our way, something that even domestically we haven't always done this season.

We were under the kosh for a good 20 mins in the first half.

Now we know who actually watched the game.

Anybody else think he will start Guidetti? Purely conjecture here but maybe that's why he didn't play yesterday.... Just a wee feeling

As far as I can remember all of Griffiths goals have been fairly simple. I'd expect Guidetti to score them as well. If the defences had been only slightly better they would have stopped all of his recent goals. Add in the chances he's missed and the amount of times he's wasted possession as well.

Link up play and presence is far more important for strikers against better teams and I think that is a clear win for Guidetti.

I think I can allow that. Nobody should be forced into agreeing with WOP :smiley-laughing002:
