    Sydneys sporting teams cant win Victorian based competitions, whereas the reversal well, Storm premiership in there 2nd season! and only missed the finals once in 6 years. Our public transport runs on time and isnt in chaos, sydney on the other hand well......

    I like rugby league and AFL too, of rugby mainly NRL, where Paramatta Eels and Brisbane Broncos are my favourites. I think in this season they can both work it to the Grand Final. And AFL - do not have favourite club, but I wish that Carlton could recover from that poor series of losses

    Rugby League is a quality game - none of the boring line outs, rucking, mauling, and other crap that makes union stop dead for half of each match. Crowds are much better too. Having been to watch both codes I can say that 700 London Broncos fans make a * of a lot more noise than the 70,000 Twickenham grandads who really should f*ck off home and watch it on the telly ...

    just thought now would be the rite time stephan to bring this up

    Cheer, Cheer, the Red and the White,
    Honour the name, by day and by night;
    Lift that noble banner high,
    Shake down the thunder from the sky.
    What though the odds be great, or small,
    Swans will go in and win over all;
    While her loyal sons are marching
    Onward to Victory.

  10. Hey rugby bhoys, I started a Keighley Cougars website on Thursday night, not done too much but it's the only real attempt that's around at the moment as the Official one's gone for some reason!

    Take a look and tell me your honest thoughts.

  16. Was looking around for information on Rugby League in Scotland and Celtic Park played a part, not a massive part but it seems the first rugby league match in Scotland was played at Celtic Park.

    Was looking for Scotland Rugby League shirts, found them finally, they look awful and only have XXL size!

    Here's a wee bit of info for the Scots! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scotland_national_rugby_league_team

  18. Rugby League, it's more than just kick and clap! :56:

    I think Union is okay, not brilliant though and find it boring most times.

    Both union and league are good games to watch - but league is usually much better live. I went to see Edinburgh play in Toulouse a couple of years back and their crowd was really good though - atmosphere almost like a football match.

    My favourite league side was the London Broncos - no way I can follow them now they have adopted the Harlequins name though. Harlequins are everything that is bad about English sport. Exclusive, rich, establishment, and f***king boring too.
