As the thread title says who are ye? I want honest answer from all who go to games. Are you not ashamed at your contribution as a fan? Once again there was little atmosphere at Paradise and empty seats with 15 to go. I honestly need to understand this, why the greatest fans in the world..??? can't support.

Please help me out and let me understand why?

    What can we do?

this can be the greatest thread ever if we get the responses!!

    Hail Hail

I was at the game today and being the excitable sort that I am I was yelling big style (not got a singing voice :52:) and when the bhoys were in on goal I was rising up to get a better view of what was happening (being as I'm only 5ft 2") and the moany faced ole git behind me told me to sit down......so how is a little person supposed to actually see whats happening :31:

Get a grip ffs after all the guy behind you is still a celtic fan just politly tell him that you as he has the right to react in a excitable but safe way to support celtic just as you do, which in turn means that you like to stand for a sec when were going to score.:31::31::31::56::47::38:

Any chance of a song today was grasped by myself as unfortunately, as you said, they are few and far between.

The main thing that * me off is that the stadium will sit not full for games like this, and less than half full for cup games but as soon as a Rangers or a European game comes along all of a sudden everyones interested again. Hypocritical * do my head in big time, far too many of them at CP IMO.

im a season ticket holder and have been since hampden, unfortunetly i have to agree about us as fans not supporting the way we used too.
if im perfectly honest i leave at about 85 mins unless the game is close, champions league games and huns games im there to the final whistle win lose or draw. the atmospheres gone ,as i was growing up it was ok to sing the ira songs etc in fact i really enjoyed it and started a fair few songs at cp myself but as you get older you get wiser and obviously you begin to realise its not socially acceptable any more. also having the ground all seater has taken away a lot of emotion and has sanitised us,maybe we should ask for a standing area.

Where I sit, South Stand rear, there is literally no singing at all, unless it's the huns or CL. Great view, * atmosphere.

there is a few in jock stein upper that sing. I sit in row CC right behind the goals and theyre is always about 20-30 people who are actually willing to sing. I just don't see why they want to hear the aberdeen fans embarrass us by being louder. we go to games to support celtic and its simply not happening. something must be done and I think if we cant create an atmosphere worthy of our team then the club itself will have to come up with something

as a former seasson book holder who had to give up my ticket as i could no longer afford to go. it amazes me how quiet the stadium is nowadays. i remember back in the days of the jungle when the atmosphere was amazing, now from what i can hear from the tv the atmosphere seems to be generated by the prawn sandwich eaters that keano used to accuse the man utd faithfull of having.

from my seat in front of the tv it appears the fans are sitting back and waiting for it to happen as apposed to cheering the team onto better things.

shame really.... i dont know how it gets fixed....... in my opinion the front of the north stand should be returned to a standing area.

give us back the jungle..... anyone agree?

So the atmosphere is lacking because we can no longer sing IRA songs? We DO have other songs and chants that we can sing, it's not the songs, it's peoples unwillingness to actually stand up and be noticed, and it's the people who sit behind us who moan and ask us to sit down - they are the biggest * of all.
I wont say that I've not left at 85minutes or around then, but I have never done so if Celtic were drawing/losing and needed the support. Only ever if they were strolling a game and playing out the last 5 minutes, it makes all the differance getting home IMO.
The standing area may not be a bad idea, but will not happen. We used to have a good atmosphere years back when it was still seated but as the years got by the atmosphere dimmed. Shame really that the supposed ex greatest fans in the world cant be * to turn up to watch their team:50:

i was at the game yesterday, as there was not much atmosphere. i am not going to be one to complain too fiercly about it as i don't really get up and sing either. the weather did not help as most of us just sat there looking miserable.

I rarely get the chance to go to Celtic Park or any Celtic games for that matter. I really cannot understand why these people who call themselves "fans" go to a match and make no input in cheering on the bhoys and then leave early. WFF?! There are many loyal Celtic fans all over the world who would kill to get to games but may never, and these people just do not seem to appreciate the fact that they are at Celtic Park and able to cheer on their team...:31: Crazy.

the atmosphere yesterday was as bad as it's been for a while imo and as i've said before where i sit they look at you as if you've got two heads if you start singing but it'll be better next season as 8 of us who sit apart are relocating to the singing section:50:i honestly don't know how to solve the problem unless they create a standing section but i don't see that happening and as rosco said in an earlier post the twats that sit behind us asking us to sit down don't help at all, even in lisbon,in the first 5mins i was asked to sit down:31:

The fact nearly 1000 fans couldn't get in because of season ticket * ups didn't help the atmosphere but the jungle bhoys done well .

Simple answer is, tell the * to shut the * up. Normaly they are pretty old so they should be easily put in their place. Luckily enough, I have non singers behind me but they aren't particularly old and grumpy so don't seem to mind too much about actually attempting to make a song happen.
