Cup final ticket allocation

From official club page:

Initial allocation for Celtic is 25,000 and United 15,000. Pretty sure some of the North and South is not being released yet but depending on if United sell out they would get some more of the North or South with us getting the remainder once a cut off date is reached for their sales.

 

Initial allocations gives us the whole of the North and East stands.

Dundee United are only getting half of the West Stand to begin with, probably release the rest of it if they sell their initial allocations.

SPFL site also has kick off for 3pm but us, and other places, 2.30pm!

 

Absolute joke if we don't get the other half of the West Stand as soon as the first half is sold instead of being forced to sell out South tickets first

United wanted £25 * and £10 concessions across the board , Celtic wanted £35 minimum all over no concessions

 

Pete just wanted to recoup his 2 mill plus expenditure as quickly as possible :icon_mrgreen:

 

That's United sold about 15,000 in the first two (of three) days of Season Ticket priority, the last batch of 3,000 goes on sale tomorrow

Ridiculous that we didn't request 50/50 split, which would have given us another 4,500 (half the North Stand), would have sold it in a week

There has never been concessions sold for the South or North stand in any of the past finals so why would they do it now. It has nothing to do with Celtic.

 

Where are you getting this bullshit from? There have always been concessions in the east stand for us. Why would we want to charge 35 quid for kids?

 

Bit of confusion, sorry, Celtic wanted £30 for West/North/East and United wanted £25/10, so they settled at £28/12

Anyway we should have asked for 50/50 anyway as West Stand completely sold out and only some £35 South Stand seats available and the general sale only started this morning

We were able to sell 17500 for the 2005 SC Final with demand for more and we were relegation candidates back then, 22000 would have sold out quick for this one, but it's done now, full house guaranteed on the plus side.

So in the end after getting nowhere near 50/50 United could not sell their allocation. There goes the argument for 50/50 with another small club in the near future

 

Swathes of empty seats in the United end.

 

i will put this here, we were at the game and there was empty seats beside us(5) east stand row K, also daughter got fined for drinking a small bottle of wine taking the low road from Ruglen,just 2 young polis in plain clothes, they thought they were dealing with a wee lassie, to cut a long story short they called for back up and one of the guys that came said to the mate ," you are in enough trouble let this one be" some times its hard being a *

 

Large sections not filled by United, no surprise.

 

The sections that were not filled were the parts that were used to split the fans, the top tier is closed on Wednesday

 

There were fairly big empty areas in the south stand lower and upper today plus the bottom few rows in the west stand. Nothing to do with the segregation

Weird .. The support we had United took to the Scottish cup final a few years ago

 

There was alot of empty seats in south lower and the entire final block of the upper was empty so they clearly sent back at least 1000 tickets

 

What's Wednesday got to do with it?
It wasn't segregation, there was several areas in the West stand empty because United never sold all of their allocation.
Was a good few empty seats in our sections as well but not sections.

 

Embarrassing, as I've said numerous times about them this season..
