Reminds me of adam lallana- i know hes only played a few games but 25million for lallana and 1.75million for armstrong shows just how inflated the english market is. Plenty of talent in the spl if you look in the right places.

Hate to say it as I laughed at Deila for it but the comparisons with Muller are there to see, his positioning and the timing of his runs in and around the box are Mulleresque.

He's so intelligent with his movement and his passing.

Him and Mackay-Steven complement each other brilliantly on either wing. Armstrong is all about intelligence, movement and timing of runs, Mackay-Steven is all about pace, directness and skill. You can see why they were such a good partnership at Dundee Utd and why hopefully they'll be here.

Nope, looks already a level above what he was playing at Utd.

His and GMS not only European, but home debuts and they werent fased one bit by the occasion

15 passes Before Armstrong stuck the ball in the net. When was the last time we'd strung passes like that about against a team of Inters stature?

The two one two's between Matthews and Brown and Matthews and Johansen was different class.

Can't wait to see this guy when his fitness is up to scratch and he has fully bedded into the team. He's just slotted in perfectly thus far, along with GMS. 2 goals in 3 games for him, his debut and then his European and home debut. Incredible.

As has been said, you can see what Deila meant when he compared him to Muller. He's energetic and gets back as well as attacking, not wasteful on the ball and seems to pop up in the box at the right time.

Quality signing, real good player. Think he'll be a key part of our team from now on. Looks the real deal.

    No, he doesn't

You guys haven't seen them enough obviously or underrated them

Both were already more than good enough to get in your starting xi, that's why us United fans were raging we sold mid season as it was obvious they would elevate this Celtic side and weaken us, and that's what has happened

Have already seen GMS rip Dynamo Moscow apart at Tannadice in the Europa and show up a £20m winger they had playing

Last night wasn't a surprise performance by either guy, they are good enough and Inter though good aren't all that either, Celtic blew a great chance to win with two unusual errors by Gordon

I didn't realise how good this kid is. Looks so comfortable on the ball and is always looking for it.

Lets hope we can keep hold of him for a good few years.
