    Sorry for a random message lads but my local team Cork City are playing KR Reykjavik tomorrow night in a europa league qualifier, just wondering do any of you remember much about them?
    We won 1-0 away and 4-0 at home.

    They're not great but what would you expect from the Icelandic League I guess. If I remember rightly the midfield wasn't fantastic but particularly in the away game the goalie put up a decent game and the defence were trying their best. Best of luck to Cork City, always been more of a Cobh man myself ;)

    Cheers, ya I'd reckon there is not a huge difference in standard in the Icelandic league and the league of Ireland.
    Colin Healy and Liam Miller will be the 2 holding players in a 4-2-3-1.
    You will be waiting a while to see Cobh ramblers in Europe bud lol.

    Just to say I'm not a Cobh man really, just tryin to wind you up :smiley-laughing002: Really would love to see Cork overtake Dundalk and take the title this year. I'd say League of Ireland may be a bit better than Icelandic League, but not by much. Best of luck to Cork though, half decent chance of making the playoffs, and I pray the group stage, don't let Shanrock Rovers take all the glory from their sole appearance eh?

    Remember it's not free. Technically when you get a season ticket you are paying for 21 games, 19 League and 2 other which are always a home friendly and a European qualifier. So if you average out your season ticket cost by 21 games then thats on average what you are paying per game.

    Mines was £501 so technically im paying £23.86 per game, so actually more than people who arent season ticket holders are for this game, although the League games are all £2/3/4/5 cheaper.
