Wish him all the luck in the world. Was a joy to watch before his injury.

McCulloch ruined his career (his Celtic career anyway). Hope he can restart it somewhere, great player before the injury, exactly what we need in the team right now.

Great player before Elbows ruined him, best option for both parties is if he moves on. All the best wherever he ends up.

Can't help thinking that he needs a long run of games to improve. Matthews was in the same situation and he's now starting to look like his old self again.

He's seemed decent any time he's played this season.

Kayal was being linked with Manchester United and Liverpool before he was killt. The storys were most likely pish but it reminds you how good he was a few years ago

Not the full true story IMO! The McCulloch's tackle did * him up for years, but this season whenever called upon he's looked great and Deila has still decided not to play him.

    Ronny D ended Kayal's Celtic career! *!

Just shows you the ultimate damage big * Elbows actually done. He might not have ruined a career with that challenge but he certainly hindered it and affected it.
If i live to be 100 youd never convince me he didnt mean to do Kayal in that challenge !!
Hope the ref keeps the * (and the rest) under the microscope in the semi .:31:

Not a * chance. Are you forgetting what the old Old Firm games were like?

As for that challenge, from what I remember, I was watching it, and I thought as they went for the ball that Kayal was an idiot; he let himself be injured. His body shape and everything was just completely daft.

I might be totally wrong there, but if you were going in for a 50-50 or a 60-40 with McElbaws, you'd make * sure you protected yourself.

My recollection of that "tackle " was it was a 50-50 ball but Elbows went unnecessarily over the top, he should have been sent off for that one.

But I think it is a myth that Elbows ruined his career, because Kayal has been excellent anytime he has featured this year, admittedly not many times, but I think he is a keeper, because we don't have many good DM's.

Keep him until Summer. I'd let him play against Rangers purely for the chance to have him on the same park as McCulloch.

If Beram goes, I wish him well. I am always a fan of his and that "tackle" (assault, more like) definitely curtailed his career. He was playing really well before it. I would love to see him, get game time and prove again why he was/is such a exciting player.
