One of the norwegian papers ran a story saying we were in amongst the number of clubs looking at IK Start duo Kristofer Hæstad and Fredrik Strømstad... they have both just been relegated with the club but i cannot see it as for transfer window is not open in scotland and also we have lots of midfielders and they are both.

also teddy bjarnason is in iceland squad again...

i like the sound of the mcfadden story though... he would be good for us. but his appearance spells the riordan surely.?

well he didnt make it there but to be fair he was thrown in at the deep end against chelsea..... he's a very good player and would do well in scottish game as he is a bit combative... his best bud strømstad is good too and is also an international but maybe not as highly thought of.. Hæstad (doffen) is really well thought of in norway.. the team they play for was considered to be title challengers so was big surprise they got relegated..

i cant see it happening as celtic have many good midfielders.... but strømstad is a right midfielder and it may be good business as back-up or direct competition for nakamura...

yip. Brede Hangeland of Kobenhavn... not sure he'll be better than what we have in the centre... but is good.

Strømstad now off to Rennes i believe.
