I'm imagining the team belting out the Celtic Song in the tunnel before kick off, like back in 67! That would freak them out!

Is this the first time we meet them since 1967?

    Gordon
    Lustig Denayer Virgil Izzy
    Broony Biton
    Commons Johanson Stokes
    Griff

I think that could work for both home and away games..

Possibly play GMS in for Stokes. Everyone in that team has the ability to attack and then get back and defend, Commons was brilliant at the weekend, got back a lot more than usual.

I'd be wary of throwing either of the new lads straight into the 1st leg... maybe the 2nd...

Inter Milan are not firing on all cylinders so I think we can beat them over the two legs, a good home win will do us the world of good.

Bitton keeps possession better than anyone in our team.

We have seen him play for Dundee Utd though, and his best position and role he played at them, is totally different to the role Bitton plays for us. There was an onus on Armstrong to be a creative spark for Utd, Bitton is in the side to offer protection to the defence, break up the play, and keep things simple, and he has been doing it extremely well recently. Even suggesting dropping him is madness.

Bitton and Armstong are nothing like each other.

nobody said they were alike we were discussing if armstrong could do a job in the middle of the park next to brown.

but maybe keeping bitton in would be fine as long as stokes is dropped for either armstrong or GMS

Then there's literally no point of buying Armstrong, he's not a sitting and keeping it tight type. We'd see the same results we saw with Johansen.

He'll be doing very well to get a position off of Stokes.
