But.....but......it's only the Scots who hate the English. The English like us and desperately want us to stay part of the Union with them. Better Together :blahblah1

We're beginning to see what the real attitude of England towards Scotland is.

Take away our tax into the london coffers and they would dump us like a * nappy.

For the first time in my life I'm excited for the General Election, however it is bitter sweet, considering I wanted independence.

So many no voters smearing the SNP facebook page and writing guff 'totalitarian state...nazis...Hitler...look at the oil prices now.' They are so close minded its scary - can't see past the SNP.

Was speaking to a 'mate' who is a big Labour guy who was so happy with the Jim Murphy appointment but now is disillusioned. He is annoyed that the SNP look set to romp the elections in Scotland and said that it has become a one state nation (not really our fault though, is it?). They are beelin'.

Can't see us winning 50+ seats, no chance - we lost the referendum 55%-45%, therefore how can it transpire that we then win 50+ seats in the U.K.? elections Suppose people have become disillusioned, can't see it thought.

Curran is a *, doesn't know what she believes now, much like Murphy and many others in Labour - they are careerists. They haven't had to 'think' or 'challenge' in Scotland because they knew they were safe.

Dunno how they unionist can sit back and feel alright with the causual racism being thrown about just now against, the absolutely tangible loathing that is evident from the S. East. Yet, we are all one big happy * family, ehh?

Aye, everyone in the Labour party is a liar, and everyone in the SNP is a good ole salt of the earth charity worker.
Change the record mate.(Not picking on your post, but none of the rest of the previous posts were worthy of a response.)

To be fair, I didn't say anything about the SNP being perfect, nor did I mention anything about ALL of Labour being liars and careerists. I mean many are, which I said.

You said it wasn't aimed at me but that was a bit hard not to take it that way.

When people are threatened you see their true nature. We are seeing England's true self.

I find the disdain they have for the SNP to be really distasteful. The language being used by labour and conservatives on both sides of the border is dangerous. As if the SNP are some kind of warmongering party.

When in actual fact we are the only party along with the Greens who advocate the removal of nuclear weapons and to stop fighting foreign wars.

We talk about tough decisions to bring the economy back to some sort of balance. Money which is wasted on nuclear weapons and wars would go some way to balancing the books in the UK.

What decision is more difficult? Cutting billions off of social security, or deciding not to invade afghanistan, Iraq, no fly zones in Libya etc... the list goes on.

I have severe deja vu everytime a Labour politician speaks about a Vote for the SNP is a vote for the Tories. Is that really the best they have?

It worked for years in Scotland, didn't it? back when the current love-in with the SNP wasn't in play the majority of Scots voted for Labour on the back of that very comment.

    Just a query.
How many, if any, SNP MP's do you think would get elected in England in a General Election.
Or should the SNP have a BRAND NEW linked party but set up in England.

I don't think the SNP should be looking to run in english constituencies to be honest. They are the Scottish national party. It's all in the name.

Have to say I wasn't overly impressed with Natalie Bennett(Leader of the Green Party in England and Wales) on Question Time last night. I can't imagine her performance convinced many viewers who were considering voting Green to actually go and do it. It's not that I disagreed with the content of a lot of what she said, I just don't think she articulated her arguments all that well and she stuttered her way through her reply to one of the audience members who challenged her. Patrick Harvie would have done a much better job of representing the Greens on that panel last night.

Didn't see it but if its the same woman that was on the news last week or week before who was doing some interview some where and she couldn't even answer some question on some of her own policy's.
And im sure she was the greens leader.

It was that bad the greens released a statement saying she had flu or something.:smiley-laughing002:

    It was this lady..........

The guy in the audience who challenged her was a walloper. He basically rubbished the idea of scrapping Trident and spending more money on renewable energies. Any Green worth their salt would have been able to shoot that argument down in flames but she failed to do so and ended up looking the worse for it.

Think it may have been this you refer too , as you say, the leader as well :smiley-laughing002:. Aye the Greens are not going to make much impact in the election up here anyway (wasted vote imo). They may have some good ideas but overall the offering does not stand up well.
