I'm in the same boat as you, i live in Bournemouth and i wouldnt be coming up unless it was a big tie. that doesnt make me a gloryhunter though as it costs me £150 to fly + hotel + ticket for a match and to be honest theres no way im paying that price for a half empty stadium. i love the club i watch every game but its common sense that we will be enticed over for big games rather than * that people in glasgow wont even go and see. think everyone should be able to get a ticket though for this by sounds of it

Referring to home league games as "the *" doesn't strike me in any way that you "love" the club as you put it.

Glory hunter is exactly what you are by your own words :87:

Like yourself I've lived away from Glasgow many many times over the last 30 years and in them days I was just happy and enjoyed the opportunity to see any game!

We live in Sherborne, and theres 3 of us flying up for the game. If you haven't got your flights booked yet, we paid £45 yesterday, with Easyjet from Bristol.
But we did go to the Salzburg away game so its not our first trip this season.

    * by comparison to a european game. Are you telling me that as an apprentice I should pay £150 for Hamilton at home to sit an empty stadium. Thats ridiciulous when I can get ticket for a european match. Thats not glory hunting its common sense. If I couldnt get to a european game then yes I would come up to the Hamilton game. I travel to southampton CSC an hours drive each week to watch every game on tv and I always follow the news, I write for tal fanzine and I'm writing a book on the club but I'm not blessed with the finances as an 18year old apprentice to make more than one game a season so obviously if I can go to either a big game or an spl game I'll clearly be going to a big game. Also I'm saving for a season book when I'm about 21. If I'm still a gloryhunter in your eyes so be it but nobody loves the club more than myself

Playing or watching? My son was at Weymouth and Salisbury playing over the last few years before hes gone on to Uni.

Funnily enough hes been keeping an Ex Celtic under 20 keeper , Aussie guy, out of the first team, until politics said the other gut HAD to play as he is on some kind of development course. Not happy. I have to keep reminding my son, hes at Uni for studying, not football. Hes coming up for the Milan game though.

On the bench. I signed with reserves couple months ago and train with firsts, I Didnt want to always bench rather than play reserves as thats no help so I just get selected sometimes for the less important games like Dorset cup and league cup. I never got on v sherbourne as it was for the semi final so wanted close to his best side out. Just have to bide my time I guess. Do you have any CSC or anything down your way?

No, no CSC as far as Im aware. If you are ever in Sherborne go to the Abbey Friar Fish and chip shop, two massive Celtic fans run it.

Tickets for the away end at the San Siro come in at around £18 in comparison, with tickets for the Inter fans starting at less than £8 in the pre-sale!

Those prices are like that to try and attract a crowd. The Europa League is not taken seriously by Italian clubs (one of the reasons why the coefficient has went down the drain). Even with those prices Inter will struggle to get 40k.

As for us we'll get a sellout no bother with the prices on offer.

I'm disapointed in the board that those of us non-season ticket holders who bought the 3-match package are left out to dry.

If you're a ST holder then you rightfully should get first pick for the tickets, then it should go to those who bought the 3-match package, then it should go onto general sale.

Not this, oh, you're a ST holder, get yourself one then two for your pals. * off.

    Total shitebags.

Parkhead could only fill one tier for the Europa League group stages where clearly only the real fans turned up whereas now you'll get plenty of part-timers getting ahead of us who deserve to be there more.

If me and my pal don't get tickets for this, we'll be gutted. We sat through some very * football in that group stage and put up with the * rain.

I don't mind when they do it for the CL group stage but it does seem a bit off the mark for this game considering how few tickets we sold for the group stage. I'm basically in the same boat but I'm sure I'll be able to use someone book, don't you know anyone who could let you use theirs?

No really. I'll see what I can do though. Hopefully I'll get a ticket. If I'm lucky then the general sale ticket allocation will come good and I'll be at Parkhead nae bother.

A few were saying exactly the same to me last night, surely it would have made sense and been fairer to give anyone who bought a 3 match package when no one wanted to go a crack at buying a ticket before someone who is the pal of a season ticket holder (many of which didn't go themselves)

Seems Celtic and every other club from what I can see don't apply common sense and fairness to allocating tickets for high demand games.

What are the chances of getting a ticket near section 111?

Can't see anyone having a problem getting tickets for this one but people will need to be on the ball when they go general sale next Thursday.
