    Nah... You can't just judge any player by stats, need to back it up with some sort of point.

    I'd agree yeah but Goalkeepers in particular. You can never judge a goalkeeper based on goals conceded is what I meant :smiley-laughing002:

    A keeper may keep a clean sheet and have an average game or concede 8 and never put a foot wrong.

    Aye, keeper can have a clean sheet and not touch the ball all game.

    Most impressive goalkeeper stat I can remember was Forsters clean sheet record first two seasons.... Playing behind Majstorivic and Rogne/Loovens

    Also, to the people saying Stokes is playing a new position - he has flirted between striker and left mid/left wing since he's played for Celtic. Nothing new here.

    No, he hasn't.mhe goes wide playing as a striker but that's far different than playing left wing.

    Nonsense, Stokes has always been a striker at Celtic. Maybe I've missed possibly 2 or 3 games he's been on the left in the years he's been here but 99% of the times he's been a striker.

    Suprised johanson has so many votes, hes only started playing well since hes moved further forward and that only happened about a month and a half or two months ago if even, was pretty poor before that playing in a deeper role. Im leaning towards vvd.

    Lenny tried him there once or twice very early on in his Celtic career and never went back to it because he was * awful, a lot of credit needs to go to him this season for adapting this quickly and for the amount of work he's also put in off the field, so he can keep up with the new defensive demand that he needs to cope with while out on the wing.

    Izzy and Stokes together have been deadly this season.

    Why are people voting Johansen when it clearly says player of year ?

    Johansen has been great past month but not so much before that

    Stop making your decisions on the last week and take in to account the full season

    Although I think Johansen should win if keeps up this latest form he's been great. It's amazing to think he was getting ripped to shreds early in season as he started the season so so bad. The guy has turned it around big time
