    If it was not for the SNP we would not have achieved a quarter of what has been gained.

    The same could be said for the people on the streets independent of any political party and members affiliated with other parties. The radical independence people and other grass roots activists also played their part, it could be argued a bigger part than the SNP.

    This thread is about the bill though.

    It could be argued , unsuccessfully, but it could be I guess.
    The reason I asked was because I'm just surprised you voted YES, given your views on the population of Scotland. But you are right its about the bill and the SNP right ..

    As i said, independence wasn't about one political party. Glasgow didn't vote SNP, it voted YES.
