CELTIC defender Fiacre Kelleher has joined Peterhead on a six-month loan until the beginning of January 2017.
The 20-year-old Irishman, who captained the Development Squad throughout their unbeaten league campaign last season, will join Jim McInally’s League One side, who face Dundee at home in a League Cup group game tomorrow night (Tuesday)
Everyone at Celtic wishes Fiacre every success during his loan spell with Peterhead.

CELTIC midfielder Jamie Lindsay has joined Greenock Morton on a season-long loan until June 2017.
The 20-year-old midfielder spent last season on loan at Dumbarton, winning the club's Young Player of the Year Award, and returned to Celtic Park in the summer.
He was part of Celtic first-team squad for the pre-season training camp in Slovenia, and last week he scored a superb individual goal for Celtic's Development Squad in their 3-1 win over Real Sociedad in the SupercupNI.
Everyone at Celtic wishes Jamie every success during his loan spell with Greenock Morton.

A FIVE-star performance from Celtic’s Under-20s left coach Tommy McIntyre delighted with his young squad as they cruised into the second round of the Irn Bru Challenge Cup.
The young Celts thrashed Annan Athletic 5-1 at Cappielow last night (Tuesday) with a double from Aidan Nesbitt and strikes from Regan Hendry, Jack Aitchison and substitute PJ Crossan helping the Hoops overcome an early set-back when they conceded a goal in the first minute.
The scoreline reflected the utterly dominant display from McIntyre’s squad, who are in the competition this year for the first time, and their coach was pleased to see his young players rise to the challenge of facing the League Two outfit.
“We knew it was going to be a tough game and don’t get me wrong, Annan are a good side, we’ve had them watched four times and that highlights the magnitude and serious way we took the game,” he said.
“For us it’s about experience, getting that challenge and having a tough game and I thought the young players did really well.
“One or two were lucky enough to play against Barcelona at the weekend, like Kristoffer Ajer and also Jamie McCart and Anthony Ralston, so when they can get exposed to these types of games then it’s something that’s really worthwhile. I thought they enjoyed it and we enjoyed it as well.”
The game had somewhat of a false start for the Bhoys as they conceded from a set-piece inside the first minute. Annan stole possession after kick-off and won the first corner of the match, with Rabin Omar converting from 20 yards after Celtic only partially cleared the corner.
The Development League champions recovered in some style, however, and went in at the break 3-1 up before adding two further goals in the second-half. The fight-back was lauded by coach McIntyre and he praised his side’s teamwork after the game.
“It was very uncharacteristic for us to lose a goal so quickly and also from a set-play,” he said. “That in itself brought us problems but I have to say, I thought the players reacted to it really well. They weren’t fazed by it, they stuck to the game-plan and stuck to the task and got the reward they deserved.
“Individually they kept it simple, and collectively as a team they gelled really well and worked hard. Talking to one or two of them afterwards there’s an excitement now about the draw and who we will get in the next round so that is positive as well.
“It’s a good marker and we’re delighted with the fact that we’ve made it to the next round.”
The Hoops now go into Thursday’s second round draw, with the fixtures set to take place on either Tuesday August 16 or Wednesday August 17.

Seems like a good draw. They are about the same level as Annan?

Yeah we have already qualified for the Youth Champions League via the U-17s winning their league, if the first team make the CL then we will be in the UEFA Champions League Path group, if not we will be in Domestic Champions Path knockout section.

MIKEY Johnston’s clinical second-half finish helped Celtic lift the Jock Stein Friendship Cup as they overcame Albion Rovers 1-0 at the Exsel Group Stadium.
Despite controlling most of the play in either half, Tommy McIntyre’s young Hoops side were kept at bay by Derek Young’s League One outfit in the annual friendly match until substitute Johnston found his mark with a cracking right-footed shot from inside the box with just over 15 minutes left.
The young attacker was set up well by Mark Hill’s driving run from deep and the victory allows the Celts to head into Tuesday’s Irn Bru Cup second round match against Cowdenbeath in good form following last week’s 5-1 thrashing of Annan Athletic in the opening round of the competition.
Tommy McIntyre put out a much changed squad from the one that swept aside Annan in the youths’ last outing last week with only Sam Wardrop, Aidan McIlduff and Calvin Miller retaining places in the team.
The game was a good opportunity for the Academy Coach to test out his new look side following the departure of key players Aidan Nesbitt and Joe Thomson on loan in the preceding days and he drafted in a host of fresh faces for the clash with Rovers in Coatbridge.
After dominating the opening 20 minutes, Celtic began to make their possession count with the lively Miller supplying a string of crosses from the left and Luke Donnelly and PJ Crossan having shots blocked in the box.
The match was an important step for Donnelly on his return to full fitness following a long period on the sidelines and there were flashes of his trademark quick feet and close control in the opening 45 minutes, but not enough to bring a clear cut chance.
The Bhoys were also comfortable at the back in the first-half with the pairing of Dan Higgins and Josh Kerr in central defence limiting Rovers to just one real chance through Ross Stewart’s wayward effort from 12 yards.
After a fairly dominant first-half from Celtic, the home fans were given something to cheer about at the interval when Albion Rovers club secretary Paul Reilly had his head shaved at pitchside to raise money for Beatson Cancer Charity in honour of his wife Elspeth, who died from the condition in early 2015.
Derek Young made four changes for the restart, including his keeper, and the League One side came out battling but it was Celtic’s Theodore Archibald who went closest to opening the scoring, fizzing a shot just over the bar from 30 yards 10 minutes into the second-half.
The Bhoys made a triple swap after the hour mark, introducing Regan Hendry, Johnston and Brandon Payne for Donnelly, Inness Murray and Archibald. The trio did their best to inject some much needed verve into the play, with Rovers content to sit back and play on the break, and their endeavour finally paid off when Johnston broke the deadlock with a cracking finish on 73 minutes.
With Rovers caught up the pitch on a rare attack, Hill broke forward for Celtic and surged through the home side’s midfield before shifting his feet on the edge of the area to free Johnston, who took a touch to steady himself before rocketing past Alan Reid in the Albion goal.
The home side rallied and went close to equalising through Ross Gilmour, who curled a left-footed shot off the bar before Conor Hazard made his first save of the match with just two minutes remaining to deny Gary Fisher from distance.
The Celts held out until full-time, however, and will now look to continue their momentum in Tuesday’s Irn Bru Cup clash against Cowdenbeath.
CELTIC (4-2-3-1) Hazard; Wardrop, Kerr, Higgins, McIlduff; Murray (Hendry 62), Hill; Archibald (Johnston 62), Donnelly (Payne 62), Miller; Crossan
