Agreed. I've never supported any military action Canada takes and in fact I'd like to see Harper's head on a pike. I'm starting not to love this country as much as I once did now that we're turning into America's * lapdog.

a 23 year old soldier was executed in the middle of Ottawa
it was no were near as brutal as lee rigby but the result was the same..
I didnt see too many people moving on from that quickly.
it might be no big deal to you but its a pretty big deal in Canada,
in the Scale of things your correct , but for a reservist standing watch over a cenotaph in front of the parliament to be murdered, and then for the gunman to drive into Government buildings in Ottawa! is a new and notable thing.

It's only a big deal because you people are making it a big deal, the soldier that was deliberately run over and died was hardly mentioned the next day. Now we have a Hollywood killing and you can't shut up about it

Which is longer than the first soldier that was murdered in cold blood by a Canadian will ever be remembered for.

I did find the coverage of it strange. Hours after it happened it seemed to recieve very little coverage. What, was even stranger was none of the news channels reallyseemed to have a view on what has happened. Usually the fact they don'tknow doesn't stop them guessing and putting forward their views but here they just didn't say much.

Agreed. Parliament is fair game when your country is at war.

I agree, I never use the term. If a group are a bunch of murdering * I'll just call them that.

Guy was just a mentally unstable crack addict. Not related to ISIS or any other terrorist organization.
