    He didn't want to sell to another SPL club
    Aye he would have had problems not selling to teams like St Johnstone Aberdeen , there would have been several SPL teams bidding for Fletcher .
    Petrie didn't want to sell to Celtic .
    To say he didn't want to sell to another SPL team is merely nonsense .

    Portillo , one of the main planks of your wrong arguments was concerning Neil Lennon .
    Even you know you didn't give the full account of Lennon's signing with Celtic .
    Now that you know you were wrong about Lennon , maybe you would admit that you were wrong about Ched Evans and Petrie . For your mate to say Petrie didn't want to sell to another SPL club , is merely repeating the type of nonsense you read in the Daily Record .
    Petrie like many Scottish Chairmen before him may never have wanted to sell Fletcher to Celtic and maybe he used the excuse that Fletcher was not first choice .

    Older members may recall one of those nice McClean brother when he was Chairman of Dundee Utd and Kevin Gallagher was playing very well for them . I heard him asked on Radio Scotland did he think there would be interest by Celtic in kevin G . Kevin is a direct descendant., I think , but I could be wrong , a grand nephew of a Celtic Legend Patsy Gallagher . Mc Clean said that he could assure anyone listening that Kevin Gallagher would never play for Celtic , no matter what club he went to, he would never play for Celtic .
    He never played for Celtic .

    Why did Hibs want £4m or more in January , they sold him to the money mad league in the summer for £3m
    I am sure that WGS preferred Ched Evans as a player , but they were not able to sign him .
