Agreed. The treatment of the thumb has been disgraceful by Deila.
The thumb and Stokes had formed a great partnership last year and were banging in goals for fun. Now Deila has binned the thumb and we hardly see Stokes. So what do we get to replace them, a £2.2 M striker who wouldn't score in a barrel of fannies, and who makes John Sutton look a Champions League player.

I'd have players out the door long before Deila.

Namely Stokes, Ambrose, Commons and Berget.

It's unreasonable to act like the fans of a premier league club and want a new manager after three and a bit months.

This. His formation is *.. 1 up front at home to Motherwell fs, unnacceptable. Buys a 2.3 million quid striker and paps him on the bench, our set pieces are a joke as well, and our defending is embarrassing. I hope he sorts it out, but so far we are a * average team, playing * football.

    We hardly see Stokes?

Aye yer quite right mate, I hardly notice he's on the pitch too.

Although you'll be surprised (just like I am) to hear that the non entity has actually played in 10 games this season.

Lennon never came across as a tough manager he always seemed to be best mates with the players like Jose was at Chelsea then AVB came along shook things up and the top players moaned to Roman and got him sacked, Ronny is in that same situation right now

I think there may be a generational issue at play here. Those who started attending games as adults when MON was manager have very high expectations.

Those who are old enough to remember Macari, Brady and even before that, know that moulding a team takes time and that in the meantime it is sometimes hard to tell if the manager is doing a good or bad job.

Based on today's evidence, some of Ronny's tactics are being adopted. Stokes is moving and chasing, full backs are playing well up the park (we basically had two at the back for long spells today) and the team is moving forward and back as a unit more than before.

There is a lack of cutting edge. Without Commons, there is a lack of a good final ball. There is a lack of a goal threat against a packed defence. Over-lapping didn't work often and we rarely got behind them.

I am sure Ronny can see that too. I am convinced he is a long-term project. Maybe we should get behind him and stop acting like 1990's diedco fans, expecting every game (especially in a transitional season) to be a walk-over and raging about it when we draw.

He's had a couple of dodgy league results mainly from rotation (his fault but he just trying to get a full idea of his squad, we'll still win the league dont worry) , when he does play full strength we've played well (Europe aside) beating Aberdeen and thrashing United and got a decent result against salzburg.

    Trust in Ronny

    :50:

He deserves at least until maybe March or April.
In reality he deserves a full season TBH but if (big if) he doesn't turn it around by April (and I think he will!), then we have to think about next year's CL qualifiers.

Naw am not. He is a 20 goal a season SPFL striker and there is not many of them around. We have singed plenty over the years who couldnt finish their dinner. I am honestly concerned that we will let him go and Sevco will pick him up.

When any player who can be sold, is sold, every year is a transitional season.

No he dozent, you are being far too generous. The same extravagant generosity that was extended to Mowbray. Many on here wanted Mowbray binned before or at Xmas, but the happy clappers got their way, and we endured more agony until March. Get rid of him now.
