......also didn't fancy trying to take on the cream of Europe on a reduced budget and minus some of his best player.

In truth who could blame him?

Think I was replying to whoever you replied to. I agree mate we can't keep replacing our best players with buiscuit tins on the back of "we've done it before" "Wanyama was a nobody" "ever heard of Van Dijk?"

Once we got the 12 milk for Victor we should have pumped a good 4-5 back into the same position to guarantee a like for like swith. Likewise with Hooper and Ki.

Also Deila must be on less than Lennon that's a must so we've downsized everything and scrimped and scraped when we really didn't have to and it's got us a half arsed team with a halfwit manager in charge :smiley-laughing002:

Balls. The loser was lined up to be his number two. Mjalby wanted a new challange but we dont know the whole story there either. Lenny was here for the long haul and when Ledley and Sammy were allowed to go and with no transfer budget, Lenny said * that. The tail is wagging the dog at our club. That * head Lawwell has his mitts all over the first team and that is why NFL left. Some of our supporters are idiots and swallow what they are fed. Ironically the same people laugh at the sevies for lapping up the MSM pish. If we win our game in hand we will be joint 4th after a quater of the season. That is unacceptable even if there is a team above us financially doping the league.

Exactly. Lets say Ronny stays until January and we continue this run of poor form. What position could we be looking at? 5th, 6th? Then you'll have a new manager come in with it all to do.

Ronny must go, his time is up.

Do you know Lennon personally? Did he tell you he was in it for the long haul?

He said numerous times on television and in interviews that 4 years is a * of a long time as Celtic manager (especially with fans like ours, some more than others *cough*)

He saw things going downhill, had done and won everything he could so thought time for a change or a break. Simple as that.

Under a thousand posts in 5 year, and you come on now to slate him. Wouldn't be surprised if the last time you posted was to slate Mowbray. You'll soon disappear into the mist again just like many hundereds before you.

Neil knew after the 6 - 1 defeat to Barca he took us as far as he could. His stock would only have come down if he have stayed on. Roy Keane was offered the job but turned it sown due to lack of budget. Ronny was interviewed as a No.2. When Keane turned the job down they made Ronny manager.

Everyone...needs to chill the * out..ronni put out a changed team to the euro game...thinking he could rest and the deputies will take over...hel realise strength in depth doesnt exist at celtic...no capeable backups...sure he will probably not make the same mistake again. Hes got time to experiment...then he can start to put the foot down for the league...no stress....i for one will not go burstin a blood vessel in september like some here...and for those who want lennon back...you don't have a scooby dooby doo what you wre talking about...you would be the same people crying for a change if he was still here.

So getting knocked out of Europe twice was experimenting?

Hahaha the fact i am posting is of concern enough. I read through daily and if everything is ok then there is nothing to add and the forum would be richer for it! This manager is a dud and you are the boards wet dream youngfla. Our board let go a successful manager who operated on a shoestring and got us to the last 16 in the european cup. People like you lap up lawwells * because you imply that you are a better or more loyal fan. You are a hack and you are swallowing succulent lamb but with different seasoning.

For the name of straighttalker you seem to bend the truth more times than Westminster.

He has previous for playing weakend 11s after euro ties, so obviously he will make the same mistakes again.
Putting the foot down in the league, what like easy wins oer Dundee and Motherwell?
Lennon had hit a wall with Celtic and a change was needed but not Deila. We needed a winning manager. Not a fud.
