    In the Irish Star today Claus Lundekvam has confirmed celtic have made an offer to Soton of around 750,000 euro for him, he said he doesnt know if saints have accepted it but he would gladly talk to celtic. He basically just spoke of his admiration for Strachan after that. The lads' 32. What do the TC members think of this?

    Hope this istn true - He had a few howlers in the last few games for Soton, surely we can come up with better than this.

    WHAT IS HAPPININ!? we havent even been LINKED with one exciting player yet and about 20 mid-o-oker players.Lundekavn is so *......I wld prefer playing Bobo out on the left wing!!! A waste of 750,000 and is also 32 nearing 33...what happened to these 'excititng' players.

    seems like Strachan is bereft of ideas as to what constitutes an exciting player, even a capable player! I didn't think GS was a good choice to begin with and whilst I am/was willing to give him some time my patience is running mighty short just now. Even that Polish chap ?? does not excite me. Sgonna be a long hard year eating humble pie in Govan - * forbid! C'mon Gordon get yer * in gear and bring in some Celtic quality!

    Are you sure Celtic have made an offer? The report I read was Lundekvam saying he would like to teamup again with WGS, and the article speculated what it would cost Celtic to sign him. I think this is purely the player trying to angle a move. WGS was none too complimentary about him, I think his quote was that a dead body lying in the box would score more goals from corners and freekicks than him, and that referees should book him for timewasting every time he goes up for a corner.
